I think the Pens smell blood in the water.
For the life of me, I can't understand why Murray only faced 20 or so shots last night. I thought a desperate team like the Sharks would put up at least 35+ shots against the opposing goalie. Great defense by the Pens? maybe?

Fatigue, injuries, lack of experience, it all adds up. A Cup run is truly magical and is one of the toughest grinds in pro sports. That's also why it is so special to get your name on that beauty.

The Stanley Cup Finals ended tonight and I have to say I was impressed with the way the Penguins controlled the Sharks. San Jose had a very difficult time holding on to the puck and getting shots on goal. They almost looked as if they didn't belong. Icouldn't help but think the Blackhawks could have shut them down. Anyway, congrats to the Penquins on a fantastic run this season. They weren't even in a playoff position in December, changed coaches to Mike Sullivan, and after losing 2 consecutive games to the Blackhawks in January, it was the last time it happened until round 3 against Tampa Bay. Grats to the rookie goalie Matt Murray. He hay have cost Fleury his job.
