I love him, but think of this. He is under contract next year. Palmer is not? I we re-sign Carson, what would another team trade to get Stanton right now?

I totally agree, but we are going to have to think hard on some strong offers in the offseason, IMO.
You have to keep him. When I saw Thomas warming up on the sidelines I almost had a stroke

dude was a warrior today.
The guy is damn good! He has been sitting behind a QB that he should be playing in front of. Been wanting Stanton as our starter since game 4 last season. Solid and is only gonna get better!

Still don't think he is better than Palmer. Sure he hasn't thrown any picks in his 2 starts, but that isn't due to a lack of chances for the opposing defense. He has played really well for a back-up, but he hasn't exactly set the world on fire either.

Palmer has more arm talent in that he winds up faster. His throwing motion is very compact and gets the ball down the field quickly.
Stanton has shown some great decision making in throwing the ball away when it is not there.
Think that Stanton is a better runner when needed.

The team believes in Stanton and he has chemistry with Floyd and Brown. No reason to change anything.
I think you nailed it here, gatorhater. The rest of the team believes in him and that goes a long way! Biggest test is in 2 weeks going into Denver. Going to be really challenging to beat mannnig on the road, but if we can hang in the game and make it close, it will be a big team confidence boost for the rest of the year.
I didn't know Stanton's mom bought ASFN.
really tho, stanton is a good backup but should NOT be starting in front of Carson. Chill, Ice.
He played better then a backup. Stanton has never really got a chance to prove himself and now he is. What more do you want from him to make you think he is more then a backup? 400 yrds passing and 4 tds?
