That's precisely what the 49ers have done you notice they aren't running QB draws or moving the pocket nearly as much with Rattay, it's because that's not what he does well.

I don't for a minute think Rattay is as good as he looked last night but there's something to be said for putting a guy in HIS gameplan.

If Josh bombs as I suspect he will at least we won't have the start Josh over Blake stuff, then it will be time for start Parsons!

I firmly believe Jeff is our starter opening day next year unless the Colts let Peyton become a FA which I don't see happening.

I am going to go on record right now and state we do not want McCown to start at all.

This staff is packing it in and would just undermine him to prove their point. There is no way to get any read on him but for my money the reading is done.

I say let the new guy decide what he has through training camp as to if he even deserves to be on the roster.
