The NCAA has announced start times and TV information for the opening round of the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including the first-round East Region matchup between the No. 2 seed Alabama Crimson Tide and No. 15 seed Robert Morris.
The Crimson Tide and Colonials are scheduled to tip at 11:40 a.m. CT Friday from Rocket Arena in Cleveland. The game will be televised on TruTV, part of the Warner Bros. Discovery-owned TNT Sports family of channels broadcasting the tournament.
Alabama (25-8 overall) was expected to draw a No. 2 seed in Sunday's 68-team bracket reveal. The Duke Blue Devils are the No. 1 seed in the East Region. For the Crimson Tide, it's their 25th NCAA Tournament appearance all-time and the fifth in a row under coach Nate Oats. Last year, Alabama made the tournament as a No. 4 seed and defeated Charleston, Grand Canyon, No. 1 seed North Carolina and Clemson to advance to the school's first Final Four appearance.
The Crimson Tide fell 104-82 to the Florida Gators in the semifinal round of the SEC Tournament on Saturday, marking Alabama's fifth loss in nine games. Florida defeated Tennessee 86-77 on Sunday to win the conference tournament. The Gators are the No. 1 seed in the West Region of the NCAA Tournament.
