Ok, so I haven't seen much of Tucker, but he wins in the class and 'taking the right road in life' department. I hope he can find a role on the team and sticks.

If he is athletic and can play some good D, the Suns can teach him to shoot.

Course, I thought that about Banks, so who knows.

I really like this kid. He's only a roleplayer, but he's a winner and a great character guy.

Okay, so the Suns need to keep him away from the three-point line.

As for the free-throw shooting, who cares? No one except Stoudemire ever gets fouled, and the Suns are about to trade him away anyway.

He's not real consistent with his shot, it looks like. He'll go 3-5 from 3 one game, then 0-5 the next.

Maybe that can be changed with coaching, I don't know.

Tucker can't be worse than James Jones.

I think there is a chance he can be the next Finley or Josh Howard type of late first rounder..

How can we be considered a championship team if we haven't been to the finals in almost 15 years?

We can be considered a contender though.

I don't like his measurables. I really wanted to see someone over 6'10 in this draft.

From his NBA.com profile:

Strengths: Tremendous athlete who can get up and down the floor. Plays bigger than his height and isn’t afraid to take the big shot. Terrific offensive rebounder.

So....we got a shorter Shawn Marion.

Except Tucker, unlike Marion, doesn't shrink from pressure at all.

def not finley. having watched both i was VERY excited about drafting finley. ask cheese. i was dancing around the room when we drafted him. i knew he was a stud. do NOT feel that way about tucker. he's a dirt worker. plain and simple. will he contribute? maybe someday as a mike sanders type player. no upside imo.

I would have preferred Jared Jordan. Sad to see him go to the Paper Clips.

what did they do in the tourney this year? oh, made little noise. despite spending the majority of the early season highly ranked.

but i'm not defending marion. they both don't excite me.

I like Tucker. He was my top choice for #29. I have no problem with this pick. But like D'Antoni said, he needs to learn to shoot.

Horrible, horrible pick. I wish Paul Allen bought the Suns instead of Blazers. They cleaned up in this draft. Wow, just wow. Can't believe we sold them Rudy. Sarver is a moron.

Just because Wisconsin didn't do anything in the turney doesn't mean that Tucker isn't a good player. And Marion is an excellent fit for the system. We need to improve our toughness, defense, and rebounding. Tucker does that. It's way better than tissue soft Josh McRoberts.

Wisconsin's offense is completely different from the Suns. It'll be interesting to see what he can do in the Suns offense.

Yes but we need to do that in a form that might be able to body up on Tim Duncan.

I totally agree, hence why I've been clamoring for Kevin Garnett.

But there's nobody where we were picking who'd be capable of doing that.
