Agreed. Also the fact the were cruising around at 1:30 in the morning the night before a football game doesn't look so good in my opinion. I can't imagine Tomlin being to happy about that either.

It was 1:30 PM.

What seperates criminals from the rest of the population comes down to decision making. Criminals consistently make poor decisions.

BIM separates

And it doesn't take much for a smart criminal to roll up the windows when Ofc Friendly shows up.

Talk radio here in the 'Burgh is speculating a 1-game suspension, based on them not being in the program yet, and them being inducted into the program. They also said, since a player can be in the program without the public knowing it, they might get the 4-gamer. Unless it's a nothing story. Who can say yet?

Lol, when I read the thread title, all I could think of was former Steelers CB and HOFer Mel Blount.

Nah. Probably just DWB in a nice neighborhood. I'm sure I'm not telling anybody anything they didn't already know, but the whole smelling of the marijuana thing is just the standard blanket excuse cops have learned to use for probable cause. It's the perfect excuse because it's totally subjective. There's no measurement required. As long as they state on the police report that they smelled what in their opinion smelled like marijuana, they're covered against illegal search and seizure. It continues to work because it's not like they're searching carloads of nuns. And once they find the weed, whether they really smelled it or not becomes a moot point.

According to what, the police report?

I don't if that makes them racist, or even white for that matter. Just playing the odds based on what has worked in the past. I'm sure there's a long list of other DW_'s that are payoffs. Like DW16. I got pulled over for no reason all the time when I was 16. Or there's DWAB - Driving While Alec Baldwin. That guy can't ride a bike without getting arrested.
Ide like to see the scientific data that you have that supports these assumptions and the %'s that you claim .

I used to live in Ross township and drive the road they were arrested on every single day. While the Ross police can be a little aggressive, you really have to be an idiot to get pulled over there in the middle of the day. There's hardly any officers around during the day except during rush hour.

this would be a problem even with pot legal but they really need to get pot use out of the CBA. Its a sham that dwash is out for a year but ray rice got a 1 game suspension.

There's an even bigger travesty involving Rice but that's for another forum.

TRUE. Criminals get caught, for one. Which makes them stupid. But everyone breaks the law, whether it's speeding or smoking weed or skimping on your taxes or whatev. People like to point fingers, but I think almost everyone breaks the law in one way or another, they're just selective.

However, to get busted smoking weed when you're going to get paid and know you're going to get tested (they only test certain times of the year and TELL YOU when they're going to test), to get busted then, at that time...that is the whole point of the NFL testing policy--if you get busted then you can't control yourself. I'm mostly talking about DWash obviously, but to get busted in your car is just as stupid.

I was kind of hoping we'd draft LeVeon Bell last year. Oh well. I'd be troubled if we were losing yet another starter to the reefer madness.
