Kliff wouldn't be a bad choice as OC.
His scheme gets people open. Just needs to fuse in more pro level concepts so defenses don't figure him out so quick.

I dont...hate it. I think Kliff is better served focusing totally on offense and not as a HC. Think he'd be more relaxed.

Probably...but honestly his issues were with running the entire game, not the offense. He can get dudes open and if he can just cut down on the stupid behind the LOS college plays, he may do alright. I doubt Pickett will be their QB, so he may get a fresh kid to work with again. Maybe the Steelers would be a trade up partner.

I can see Kingsbury having a very long OC career ala Norv Turner. That is his niche.

He will definitely have more success as an offensive coordinator rather than being THE guy in charge of everything. We had the #1 offense in the league 9 weeks through 2020, finishing top 10 that year and in 2021. That kind of success is a better resume than most candidates. I don't think he will be able to fix Kenny Pickett though.

I would actually like to root for Kliff if he becomes an OC in the league. So hopefully it isn't the Steelers.

I don't see Mike Tomlin going with Kliff and I don't see Kliff in Pitt in November/December in thermals and a woolly hat.

The key decisions on clock management and 4th down calls will be made by HC Tomlin. Perhaps that might make Kingsbury role as OC successful.
