On Tuesday the news broke that the Pittsburgh Steelers are bringing in Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders in for a Top 30 visit. Sanders is the consensus No. 2 quarterback in the 2025 NFL draft but his draft stock is all over the place depending on who you ask.
There's a legitimate possibility the Steelers could select Sanders at No. 21 overall or even trade up to get him. With that in mind, here's our mock draft update including Sanders in the first round.
There's no denying that Sanders has a high football IQ and loads of arm talent. He's sneaky athletic but didn't really showcase that at Colorado, and he needs to work better when there's pressure.
Phillips is a freakishly powerful nose tackle whose feats of strength in the training room translate to the field in run support. Phillips is a throwback nose who commands a double-team on every play.
The Steelers have shown an interest in Blue, who is explosive and dynamic with the home run speed the run game needs.
Few wide receivers in college football have been as good as Taylor has been the last two seasons. His size and athleticism are up there with the top prospects in this draft.
Fairchild brings a wealth of experience at guard in the SEC and is one of the best pass-blocking interior offensive linemen in the draft. He has to get stronger and improve as a run blocker but he's got starter potential.
Similar to Phillips, Evans is a massive interior defensive lineman whose stock is down after an injury last season cut his season short. But his raw power and motor will help him find a spot on early downs.
