Good morning, Winners! Welcome back to the Morning Win. Happy Friday! You made it to the end of the week.
Steph Curry just did something that most people never thought could be accomplished in NBA history. He hit his 4,000th career 3-pointer in the Warriors win over the Kings.
It wasn't spectacular. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Really, it was just Curry being Curry. That's kind of what makes this mark so special.
That caption is exactly right. It's 4,000 3-pointers and counting. He still seems to have plenty of basketball left in him. Barring health, there's a chance he pushes the record to 5,000. He turned 37 years old this morning and doesn't seem to have lost a step.
I can remember back in 2011 when Ray Allen finally broke Reggie Miller's 3-point record to become the all-time leading 3-point shooter in the NBA. That was the same mark of 2,973 that Curry just broke a few seasons ago. And he's now already made his way to 4,000.
What makes Curry so special, though, is that his influence has breached the game so much that it doesn't even necessarily feel like wherever he stops will be some sort of insurmountable goal. It might actually be, but it doesn't feel like it because everybody shoots 3-pointers like Steph Curry now.
I mean, think about it. Allen broke Miller's record over a decade ago. When that happened, it felt like no one would ever be able to pull that off.
Well now? Reggie Miller is 6th on that list. Ray Allen is 3rd behind Curry and James Harden. Soon, Damian Lillard will pass him, too, and he'll fall down to 4th. He'll have Klay Thompson and LeBron James (!!!!) breathing down his neck when that happens.
Not only was Allen's 3-point record broken, it was absolutely shattered. There's a chance — not a likely one, but a chance! — that wherever Curry stops, the same thing could happen.
After all, if anyone's proven that records can be shattered, it's the man himself. Congrats, Steph, on completely breaking the game.
Ever seen two Cowboys clash? Of course, you have. I'm sure you'd like to see it again, though.
Dexter Lawrence and Micah Parsons have beef. Lawrence basically called the Cowboys losers and, well, Parsons obviously took exception to it. Cory Woodroof has more:
Guys. This is hilarious. That last line from Lawrence? He told the man to stop tweeting and start winning. Unbelievable.
Yet another chaotic offseason for the Cowboys. What else is new?
There are some pretty terrible ways to lose a basketball game. I cannot think of a way that's worse than the way than the way Stanford lost to Louisville.
They get a stop and a rebound. It looks like we're going to OT. All Stanford has to do is hold on to the ball. Then, well, this happens.
What a heartbreaker. This is what they mean when they say March Madness. Louisville moves onto the ACC semis.
Sorry, guys. I wasn't passing up the chance to show off the blood moon at its peak. This is a total lunar eclipse seen from Mexico City.

— Meg Hall had a brilliant Q&A session with Flau'Jae Johnson about balancing life as an artist and a hooper. Well worth your time.
— Cooper Flagg's ankle injury temporarily tanked Duke's March Madness odds. Bryan Kalbrosky has more.
— Andrew Joseph has options for the Rays here after their new stadium deal fell apart.
— Christian D'Andrea has 1 remaining free agent for all 14 NFL playoff teams.
— Here's the latest NBA mock draft with Ace Bailey as a top 3 pick. He's holding steady.
— College kids. Not that smart! Well, at least when it comes to sports betting. Prince Grimes has proof.
That's a wrap, folks. Happy Friday. Enjoy the weekend.

Dexter Lawrence and Micah Parsons have beef. Lawrence basically called the Cowboys losers and, well, Parsons obviously took exception to it. Cory Woodroof has more:
"This what rejection and envy look like! This some clown [expletive]!" Parsons shared on a NSFW X (Twitter) post on Thursday evening above a video with Lawrence's fiery comments.
Lawrence didn't waste any time to respond, and he was just as fierce with his jab back as Parsons was with his.
"Calling me a clown won’t change the fact that I told the truth," Lawrence shared in his reply to Parsons. "Maybe if you spent less time tweeting and more time winning, I wouldn’t have left."
Guys. This is hilarious. That last line from Lawrence? He told the man to stop tweeting and start winning. Unbelievable.
