Didn't realize just how funny Brenly really is. Steve is okay. The only time he annoys me is when he does those voices when saying someone's name.

Absolutely loving the new announcers. Brenly seems to have grown funnier over the years and his analysis is amazing, he is frequently a few plays ahead of the action predicting exact pitches. And I like Steve, I agree with some of the complaints when he was getting over excited on routine plays, but I think that was him adjusting from calling high-lights to calling full length games. He has gotten better about it as the season has gone on.

If you must. Myself, I'd suggest you just relax, take a deep breath and maybe picture him as a caricature of himself. Laugh at him and the others that annoy you and you'll live a few years longer.

Great philosophy! I overlook it at work and with relatives. But I just can't when it comes to sports announcers, namely Sutton and Steve Albert (Suns TV play-by-play), at a time for relaxation and leaving obnoxidity behind.

My main point was the first part of my post. Why would Sanderson Ford (who had Al McCoy as their spokesman for years) hire a guy who was let go by the D'backs? It shows a degree of disloyalty to the community.

But then, Sanderson president David Kimmerle (who married into the Sanderson family) is, what they lovingly call a car puke.

Here is a funny story about the Sanderson dealership. Years ago, they had a salesman whose name was Tom Anderson. But whenever he was on the phone trolling for customers, he would give his name as Thomas Anderson to make it sound like he was a member of the Sanderson family. It worked until they came in and saw his name tag.

P.S.: I am not sure I want to live a few years longer. As young as I feel at the age of 72, I want to live only as long as it is enjoyable. Which it has not been while listening to Daron Sutton's ego and Steve Albert's self-deprication.

You're right. Sutton did a TV commercial for Sanderson Lincoln a year and a half ago. I never saw it on a D'backs game, though.
