I want to congratulate the scouting department on the excellent job that you did on assembling talent this year. Excellent work and look forward to seeing fruits of next year's labor.

At the same time how about we start drafting players to stick around in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. Buster Davis, Cody Brown, Andre Roberts, all high draft picks wasted that could've been other players.

Granted, we got some UDFAs this year that look like world-beaters, but let's not gamble so much in the future.

Win some, lose some. Took gambles on other small school guys and they panned out.

Getting UDFA's and late rounders to pan out is great, and kudos to finding good additions to our squad that late, but it should be considered a bonus. Second and third rounders (high picks in general) should be the ones that turn into solid to great (core) players fo your franchise, with an occasional bust that you can't exclude of course.

Adding Alan Branch (meh) and Rashad Johnson (still open, but not too promising so far) to the list mentioned above, and personally i think someone should get fired in the scouting department, or someone needs to be added.

Agreed althoughi dont like the roberts pick either especially with williams coming out of nowhere he still could end up being good. The cards just didnt expect williams to come out of left field.

Im completely weirded out by the Cody Brown release. i trust whiz but i dont know lately im really starting to question him a bit. He may need to check his ego..

You could be 100% correct but he looked slow as hell in the preseason. I mean really slow. I was watching him hoping to see some speed but was sorely disappointed.
