Jason La Canfora is reporting that the Arizona Cardinals are in contract negotiations with Eagle LB Stewart Bradley.
This would be a good signing and bolster the ILB corps.
That probably means the Cards won't sign Stephen Tulloch . Why do I even get my hopes up that they'll ever sign a good player in his prime. Name once when the Cards have EVER signed a FA that doesn't have question marks. They're either injury prone, old, or no one else wants them.
Tulloch is the one guy that can make this defense instantly better. But no, we're brining in a concussed, injury prone castoff that Philly doesn't want. Think about, Philly needs LB's and they're letting the guy walk.
he was old and not in demand. I'm talking about a guy who isn't looking for his last contract and can still play. You know, a guy like Stephen Tulloch or James Jones.B-train!!!
(and Philly was very happy with Chaney's work in the middle when he took over.)

If healthy, he can fill the bill - not only as a big, tough guy who can fill the Hayes role on the field, but also as a leader in the lockerroom.
You never know about knees. They often do take a year to heal (if, in fact, they do heal).
If.
(Note - The way Urban seems to put it: It's more like we're "in the hunt" for Bradely rather than actually drawing up papers.

Most players after tearing their ACL take about a year to fully get back into form, I like that they are pursuing Bradley

Re-post !
I don't really care to be honest, but anyone who is interested in reading some more thoughts on Stewart Bradley can check this thread out.

I am obviously a HUGE fan of this move, if it happens.
I think if Bradley's body holds up he will be the start SILB next year, and hopefully for some time to come. As stated he is 6'4" 260 lbs and 27 years old.
I think he will be perfect for our scheme. He will NOT need to play every snap which is even better, IMO
