We probably would still lose anyways but this is the play in the endzone on 3rd and 2 where they didn't call the PI on Witherspoon. I finally found a replay, the ball actually hit the back endline of the endzone so there's no way in hell a ref can say it's uncatchable the ball landed well within range.

The 2 things that jump out, unless Witherspoon just didn't make contact, but the replay they showed in the game he did, I don't see how the ref doesn't call this. But this is another example where Marv has to go up and highpoint the ball and sell the contact, instead he kind of tried to make a diving layout catch which I think actually helped convince the ref it wasn't PI?

We likely lose anyways but I was surprised the announcers didn't make a bigger deal of it and Davis said he thought it was the right no call so I'm puzzled. It was the last chance we had

It was a blatantly obvious PI. Witherspoon stumbled and desperately took out Harrison prior to the ball arriving. Ref in back of end zone is looking towards the line of scrimmage; where the hell the side judge is I don't know, but he wasn't in position; still should have been able to make the call from down the sideline.

This did end the game, effectively. Would have been 1st and goal on the 1, plenty of time left, and we score there no question. FG to win it opens up so many options the rest of the 4th quarter.

And it was a blatant PI. People will yap about K1 throwing it back foot but he makes that same throw a lot. It always looks bad, and connects.

The entire game was so frustrating.

It always looks bad... AND connects? What team are you watching? If it always connected this team would be much better.

It connects more than it ever should. I've stopped worrying about it.

That was the least of K1s throws in this game I would complain about. The picks were so bad it looked like a rookie UDFA from south nowhere state.

Also, not the play I'd have dialed up on 3rd and 2 with McBride eating and us needing a TD to make the end game easier. Just get the first, and get 3 TD shots. All kinds of ass all over that play, from the call to the protection to the throw to the no call.

Played wanting to have the FG in the pocket, praying for the TD.

I'd complain more about the PI if it weren't a mind-numbingly stupid decision to throw that ball. You have 2 downs to get 2 yards, yet this is what unfolded.

The missed FG attempt was just icing on the cake.

This team is consistently incapable of measuring risk/reward and the MOMENTUM of the game. It doesn't exist for JG because he can't sense it -- based on his sideline demeanor, he doesn't sense much.

Need 2 yards and a 1st? Throw a bomb with 3% chance of completion. Need to put the game away by converting 4th/3 at the goal line? Kick the FG and watch your D collapse.

Same poo every Sunday that 90% of the longtime fans call out as it's happening.

The problem was I think the ball was supposed to come out quickly but wasn't open and they got an inside rush so Kyler backed up and then kept backing up which made that bailout throw the only option.

That said if it's PI, call it, and if they didn't call it because the ball was uncatchable they're going to have to explain the physics of the ball literally landing on the white area in the back of the endzone just out of bounds

100% agree take the easy play. Like I said I think there was a quick play that was covered and then the pressure spooked Kyler and he started backing up.

I know the math says kick the FG there but I honestly thought we were going on 4th down, why else take a deep shot on 3rd?

I don't think that play was called as a bomb, Kyler loves checking into a deep ball on 3rd and short when he sees 1 on 1 coverage. He learned it from idolizing Rodgers.

Absolutely -- I don't blame that on the coaches. It's the team as a whole that struggles with this.

I think he sees blitz and just throws it up to avoid contact.

Sane reason he's money to McBride. Just dump it off easy throw and no chance of getting hit
