I was told I was foolishly panicking. Still think so? This pitching staff blows. We will regret letting Bautista go and signing Reynolds. Our bullpen was so overworked last year and it will be worse this year. Bad news.

Yes, I think you were still foolishly panicking...although I am starting to get a sinking feeling. Starting pitching has not been atrocious with the possible exception of Daigle (and he deserves beyond one start to judge)....maybe Sparks too but again I am not writing the guy off after one lousy start.

The bullpen is turning into a real Achilles Heel right now.

I cannot argue the loss of Batista...that one was going to hurt no matter what.

It is still too early to panic but I think there are some glaring issues now that need to be addressed ASAP to prevent this season from going straight down the crapper...bullpen and OF depth to start.

Colorado and St. Louis hitters make alot of pitching staffs look bad. Lets play more teams around the league before we break out the violins.

On Brenly's head if he doesn't start winning. Unfair as it is that Joe G. put together this poop pile of a pitching staff, BB will unfortunately pay the ultimate price while "organization man" keeps on making his crapola moves.

The D'Baks are in last place. Is it time to panic? I'd say so. The pitching is atrocius, just like it was all spring.

I don't have any solutions, I just agree with what Karl left unsaid, which is that these ARE the real D'Baks we are seeing. There is no upside to that pitching staff.

It's going to be a long year.

And what's with Robbie Alomar?

Maybe Alomar left all in the training room. Perhaps his last couple of years are the reality and not the fluke that alot of people thought.

I don't know anyone who thought replacing Bautista with Reynold was a good move. That was about money not talent, so there really isn't anything to regret there. Yes, our pitching has looked horrible so far. And even if things go well we still aren't going to be amongst the elite in the NL. But I still think it's too early to pack it in and I would maybe wait a little bit longer than 7 games before you start patting yourself on the back azkarl.

Are you kidding me? We are only 2 weeks into the season. Last year the Florida Marlins started off real bad, you remember what happened to them right? Its a 162 game season. Holy moly, Im just as pissed about the 1st 2 weeks, but in no way am I packing it in yet. Lord help us if the DBack players are giving up already like some of you guys.

Amen to that, if you guys are ready to panic you are nuts. Give this team a little time. Its not rare that st. louis kicks our ass and that colorado would put up monster numbers at coors. just give it sometime. If we are pitching like this at the middle/end of may then panic.
