What do you think is the key to stopping LeBron James when we face up to him in a few days time?

Would you like to see earl Clark given some time to defend LeBron? They are about the same height, and Clark ahs shown he can defend.... Should be a good challenge for him..

You don't stop a LeBron, you can only hope to contain him.

And putting a rookie on him ain't gonna do it.

Let him get his 40 points. Contain everyone else. LeBron is good, but he can't beat you by himself.

Exactly. It's the same for every star player in the league. Do what you can, but don't hope to win based on stopping that player. Stop the other guys, and you win.

Clark played some good D against Blake Griffin who is the size of LeBron, but whose game does not extend to 23 feet.

Earl Clark will look stupid guarding James. It's not Clark's fault though. I would put Grant Hill on James and hope for the best. He can still drop 40 on us. My game plan would be to let him score and stop every other scrub on that team from scoring.

Put Grant on him and maybe Richardson. make him work for his points but concentrate on not letting him get the other players involved.

Same thing the Spurs always do to him. Play a man up tight on him and every else with a foot in the paint.

Make everyone else beat you and keep him off the foul line.

J-Rich a bit short though? What about Lou? or maybe Dudley and J-Rich double..

I think Dudley would do a good job of hounding him and he is fast enough to keep up with James. But you are definitely not starting Dudley so its a waste of time to speak about it.

Well, thats not the case anymore. His teammates are no longer "scrubs." Nearly all of them are capable of beating our players in a 1 on 1 situation. Sagging off on them would be a disaster, lights out 3 pt shooters.

Put Nash on him maybe he'll laugh so hard he'll lose his dribble.
