Well, here you go. This season, more than any other, I am particularly clueless about what all is going to happen with different teams. A lack of FA is really screwing everything up.

So, first, the first-round mock:

1—Carolina Panthers: Cam Newton, QB, Auburn

2—Denver Broncos: Marcel Dareus, DT, Alabama

3—Buffalo Bills: Von Miller, DE/OLB, Texas A&M

4—Cincinnati Bengals: A.J. Green, WR, Georgia

5—Arizona Cardinals: Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU

6—Cleveland Browns: Julio Jones, WR, Alabama

7—San Francisco 49ers: Blaine Gabbert, QB, Mizzou

8—Tennessee Titans: Nick Fairley, DT, Auburn

9—Dallas Cowboys: Mike Pouncey, C, Florida

10—Washington Redskins: Robert Quinn, DE, UNC

11—Houston Texans: Prince Amukamara, CB, Nebraska

12—Minnesota Vikings: Da’Quan Bowers, DE, Clemson

13—Detroit Lions: Tyron Smith, OT, USC

14—St. Louis Rams: Aldon Smith, DE, Mizzou

15—Miami Dolphins: Anthony Castonzo, OT, BC

16—Jacksonville Jaguars: Jimmy Smith, CB, Colorado

17—New England Patriots: J.J. Watt, DE, Wisconsin

18—San Diego Chargers: Cameron Jordan, DE, Cal

19—N.Y. Giants: Nate Solder, OT, Colorodo

20—Tampa Bay Bucs: Adrian Clayborn, DE, Iowa

21—K.C. Chiefs: Gabe Carimi, OT, Wisconsin

22—Indianapolis Colts: Derek Sherrod, OT, Mississippi St.

23—Philadelphia Eagles: Cameron Heyward, DE, OSU ('cause Carimi can't be drafted twide ;) )

24—New Orleans Saints: Mark Ingram, RB, Alabama

25—Seattle Seahawks: Corey Liuget, DT, Illinois

26—Baltimore Ravens: Brandon Harris, CB, Miami

27—Atlanta Falcons: Kyle Rudolph, TE, Notre Dame

28—New England Patriots: Mikel LeShoure, RB, Illinois

29—Chicago Bears: Danny Watkins, OT, Baylor

30—N.Y. Jets: Stephen Paea, NT, Oregon State

31—Pittsburgh Steelers: Aaron Williams, CB, UT

32—Green Bay Packers: Justin Houston, OLB, Georgia

Cardinal’s Picks
5-Patrick Peterson, CB, LSU--obvious pick
38-Stefen Wisniewski, C, Penn State--We don't have a full interior line under contract, and this kid is an outstanding interior lineman that can play guard as well.
69-Sam Acho, OLB, UT-I REALLY want an OLB before this, and hope we take Quinn in the 1st, but I see us going with Peterson.
103-Marcus Gilbert, OT, Florida--Maybe KW is trying to sell us a bill of goods with his confidence in Brown?
136-Greg Romeus, DE, Pitt--We need 3-4 DEs for depth and for the future.
171-Bilal Powell, RB, Louisville--Much more of a shifty speed back than what we have, outside of LSH. Might spell the end of Hightower.
184-Mario Harvey, ILB, Marshall--We like the kid and still need a SILB
249-Ollie Ogbu, DT, Penn State-Was a beast at a major program and can be plugged in at 3-4 if he translates well.

So, there's my know-nothing draft :)

Maybe we should draft Gabe Carimi since he's good enough to be drafted twice in the 1st rd :D

Good mock though Stout...we sure do need a player that can contribute this year & I really think we should draft at least 3 LB'ers

If Gabbert goes to the 9ers I can only hope he is as bad as those that don't like him say he is.

Pretty good...no major complaints other than I don't think a C is going to go as high as #9, no matter who his brother is.

Nice work.

Pretty good mock I think. Its both realistic and representing a good haul for the Cards. In particular I really like the Harvey, Wisniewski and Romeus, all of which represent tremendous value where you have us picking them.

And a little Penn State bias makes me like it even more.

Yeah, it's my shocker of the draft. 'Word' is that they love Pouncey, and 'word' is that they like their starting OTs, and 'word' is that Davis may be on his way out and that they want a new C....that's a lot of words and a lot of speculation...but hell, if Alualu (sp?) can go 10th overall last year, we can get a shocker here. It's my gamble of the mock.

Gabbert + Jim Harbaugh would be a nightmare scenario.

Yep, for the 49ers. I love everything about Gabbert...except for his ability to physically QB an NFL offense.

You know, if we could get Gabbert's smarts and leadership ability, Newton's frame and arm, and Mallet's gunslinger mentality, we'd have a solid NFL QB :D

Isn't Romeus a bit small for 3-4 DE. Isn't he a OLB prospect?

At the moment some are projecting him at OLB as he weighs between 265-270 depending on your source (remember he has been injured more or less a whole year) . But looking purely at tape and his strengths, he is better suited to bulking up some and play DE. His amazing wingspan, excellent ability to set the edge, penetrate through several blocks and very good use of hands project well at DE.

Imo he would struggle at OLB where his lack of pure pass rushing moves would be exposed and him not being a good tackler when in pursuit as well as not really having the ability to diagnose the play (partly due to only starting playing football in his final year at HS) would make him a likely liability as an OLB.

He has the athlecism to project at OLB but in my opinion his skill set projects better at DE (probably moreso as a 4-3 DE more than a 3-4 DE) and though id be reluctant to take him anywhere before the 4th round I think he provides excellent value in the fifth as is the case in Stout's draft.

Nice work Stout. I have been thinking alot about us taking Wisniewski in the second as well. He would make a fine center for us. I to am hoping for either Von Miller or Robert Quinn at 5. I really think Gabbert is going to go to the Bengals at 4 because of the Palmer retirement threat. If we ended up with Peterson at 5 that would be okay to.

I like it,except for Wisniewski in round 2, but that's probably just a little of the PSU coming out.

Good job, overall Stout.

I like it, but I see Acho going in the second.

This kid is something special. Believe you me, Penn State's line might have struggled, but the only reason they managed to run at all was largely because of Wisniewski. Royster was decent, but Wisniewski incredible. He can play C or OG. Trust me, when you see how bad our line suffers at Penn State (unless we get a super frosh), you'll understand.

Good work.

The anti-Mitch draft, no Kerrigan in the 1st round. ;)

That won't happen.

And yeah Acho in the 3rd, Gilbert in the 4th are stretches. Who knows?

Nah. I have no idea where he'll go. I just looked to see where he was in the rankings and wanted an OLB in there.
You know you want to p eerpressure: :) It wouldn't involve anything other than saying we wagered.

I think I like Peterson the best out of the defensive choices. An addition like that can help our pass rush IMO, create a few turnovers, and even net a couple returns that will bring some well needed points. I think our new DC would be bout it bout it, especially with his expertise in the secondary.

Fine. Just remembered, you called the thunder... :D

Wisniewski is going 1st half of the 2nd round...bank on it. If he does, you have to say I was right. If he doesn't, you have to say I'm still a cool cat.

Okay, okay, fine...if he doesn't, I'll say you were right.
