With the draft 3weeks away, who do feel is best sure fire star & who do you feel will be a total bust? I would say these guys should be projected 1st or 2nd rd picks or a sleeper. 5 for each.

Studs:

1-Golden Tate
2-Brandon Graham
3-Dennis Pita
4-Javier Arenas
5-Russel Okung

Duds:
1) Pierre-Paul
2) Anthony Davis
3) Arrelious Benn
4) Mt Cody
5) Ricky Sapp

looks like we only agreed on Cody & Okung. I did take a flyer on Arenas' skills as both a CB & return guy.

I'd like to add Marty Gilyard to the stud list. He's gonna be a real find for whatever team drafts him.

Like your Arenas call. Pita could be OK. Not the full assortment TE, but a good pass catcher.

I think Sapp could turn out extremly solid. Won't take him at 28 though.

I usually stand clear of questioning other opinions regarding the draft UNLESS I see someone come up with a sleeper whom I also identified, however IMO Iupati is one of the safest picks in this draft..rarely do guards go in the first round, ditto centers but when they do they usually stand out...he is in the family photo...one tough dude.

When a certain position is so weak in the draft guys tend to get elevated. The guard position in this years draft is very pedestrian. So the draft pundits have to pick the #1 guard. Its like picking the shiniest penny. Sure it looks better then the others but its still worth 1 cent.

He was never asked to pull or go to the next level and block a LB in the scheme he played in college. Has horrible feet, and bad hands where he grabs rather then punches 99% of the time. His lower body is also very weak and slow. Probably why they never asked him to pull for them. For example the just as heavy but much squatier(3 inches shorter) Dan Williams broad jumped a full foot further and 5 inches higher then Iupati. That shows just how skinny his lower body is and the lack of lower body explosion.

He may be a holding machine in the NFL. Did you see him in the Senior Bowl?
