Being from Texas, I didn't see a lot of Suggs but I was able of late to see some of his games on tape. Suggs is a very dominating pass rusher and I hope the Cardinals pay attention to what the guy has done on the field and not those experimental mice routines scouts use at the combine ect... There is this guy you see named Jerry Rice who never awed anyone with his forty time. There was this conerback from TX A&I who was suppose to be too small to play in the NFL, wouldn't tackle well or be durable enough to last... believe the man's name is Darrell Green. In passing I remember a RB who also was too small to last and just not fast enough... Emmitt Smith. Anyone putting a lot of emphasis on the workouts forgot about a place called the field of play where stop watches and bench presses won't score ANY points. I hope the rest of the NFL buys into this whole Sugg's a slug crud from his workouts and the Cards will be able to draft him.

GO TROOPS!!! go cards!

I don't think the real concern is with the 40 time. The real concern is with the 19 reps of 225. There are small cornerbacks in the draft who are doing 23+ reps. But you are right he has shown he can play football but so have many others who have turned out to be busts...Thomas Burke.

This is correctable. Have Mean Joe make him "drop down and give me 20" as many times a day as it takes for Suggs to get stronger in the upper body.

Suggs is just a kid. What? 20 years old? With what he has going for him, can you imagine what he can give you when his body matures? Scary when you think about it. The DB that I read about that benched more reps was Newman and he's 25 years old.

Suggs's strength should not be an issue. I can improve his rep total into the mid to upper twenties within a month & a half.... Hook him up with Fish and watch that total climb... Draft him!
