A lot of people are down on Derrick Brown because of the numbers he posted at the combine. This thread should serve as notice that combine numbers are only one piece of the puzzle!

I don't like anyone in this draft as much as I liked Suggs in that one. I think that is the most ridiculous choice the Cardinals ever made, even more so than not picking Adrian Peterson..

As you can see, history shows it hasn't been kind to us. What could have been if we stayed at 6 or traded to the most 10.

There is no crystal ball, but with the information available, the transcendant talents in this draft appear to be Burrow, Young, Brown, Okudah, and Simmons. Take one if available. If not, take Lamb or Wills.

2004 Rivers/ Roethlisberger --> Fitz
2005 Rogers --> Rolle

2007 the only real choice for the Cardinals was Brown or Peterson.
