Is it just me or does the summer lineup look dreadful? I have really not seen anything that catches my eye. Anybody have any ideas on some good stuff to watch out for? Good thing I have BB coming back in a month.

Wow, I couldn't disagree more. We (my family) love the summer/off season shows. IMO, they are far superior to most of the regular fall stuff. I think we probably have more than a dozen different shows to record at this time of the year.
The BBC retelling of Jekyll and Hyde, "Jekyll" is really good. It's in the streaming library.Any suggestions besides the shows already given? I was just gonna maybe catch up on an older show on netflix.

Also, some of my all-time favorites are HBO's "Rome" and "Carnivalle." Those aren't streaming, though.

Necessary Roughness on USA! Starts June 29th! Watch it or I lose my job!
Sorry I guess I should have rephrased and said new shows ill def be watching breaking bad and curb. Not a fan of science fiction shows so not big on warehouse 13, eureka, or falling skies. The only one I'm considering is wilifred but I can see it getting old fast with the imaginary dog.
I can't imagine not being a fan of science fiction so I think our tastes run so far apart that you could probably figure out what not to watch by what I like. I'm looking forward to Falling Skies perhaps more than any show I can think of in recent years. Also, of the more mundane stuff, we enjoy Rizzoli & Isles, The Glades (one of my favorites), Rookie Blue, White Collar, Leverage and Covert Blue in addition to most of the shows already mentioned.

Did you mean Covert Affairs and Dark Blue? I love both of those shows...along with The Glades, White Collar, Men of a Certain Age, Burn Notice, Leverage, etc...Even the new one Franklin and Bash is kinda fun.
I always look forward to the summer/off season shows...I think most are more creative than "regular" shows. I also often wonder how many would actually find a following on big network tv in the fall, if they had bigger budgets.
Man, I have a ton going. Warehouse 13, Eureka, Haven, Burn Notice, Torchwood and Trueblood all come back. I'll be checking out Alphas, Legend Quest, Outcasts, Falling Skies, Combat Hospital, and of course, Cheesie's Necessary Roughness.
On board with Warehouse 13, Eureka, Haven, Burn Notice and Torchwood. Same here with checking wout Alphas, Legend Quest, Outcasts, Falling Skies and maybe Combat Hospital. Kind of sick of all the hospital shows.
I noticed you left out True Blood. Was that just an oversight on your part or is there someone else on this planet besides me (and my wife) that doesn't like that show? I love sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural shows and I'm fond of Urban Fantasy (in print and on the screen) but I hated the books and really, really, really hated the TV show.
BTW, I'm also tired of the medical shows although I'll probably give Combat Hospital a try (mostly because of Elias Koteas although I always expect to see him in Hockey gear).
Steve
Actually, I'll check out Burn Notice, but it just seems to have gotten too cliched and too...well, everything's the same season after season. They MAY have finally shaken it up again, but if it starts falling into the same pattern, I am OUT.
Well, based on what you've said, I suspect you won't likely change your opinion. I love the show and it continues to be one of my all time favorites but it has never come across as repetitive to me. I think that just about every TV show has a chance to feel like "the same old thing" and once that starts bothering you it usually signals an end to the enjoyment.

This.Well, it's been 'oh, why do you keep doing XYZ to try and get back in with the people that burned you?' 'I gotta get back...see, I'm only doing the stupid thing with the baddies to get back!' 'But the ends don't justify the means.' 'Sure they do...I mean, whoops! It didn't work? Gasp! A major setback that means yet another season!'
As long as I can remember with this show, that's what the plot has been, season after season. Last season it got really, really old. The writers have been far too lazy, and the excellent acting hasn't been able to keep me interested. Now, it seems like they might have broken the cycle, but I'm going in as a pessimist this season.
