Seattle doesn't have a choice... Alexander signed a special deal preventing Seattle from franchising him after the season. Edge I might believe but it was the same thing with Patrick Surtain, we could have had him but we decided apparently the cost was too great. I can see the argument against Edge more, he's got a lot of wear and tear and an injury history, but he's sure a lot better than what we have now.
