They were playing hard and hustling...they just sucked royally at FT's, again, and penetrating that zone. Can't win just shooting a billion 3's.

3-10 from the line is inexcusable, really.

They played pretty well defensively. But a total lack of FT shooting and jacking up beyond-NBA 3's isn't going to get it done.

Good look for a game winner, just didn't go

Just a lot of panic. When they played calm, worked to the baseline or worked toward the middle with additional movement they looked good.

When they took a 3 from a set it worked

Just way too much pointless dribbling and jacking up long 3 or hurried shots from all over with no reason

The whole Pac-12 is horrible. ASU lost narrowly and probably shouldn't gave gotten in (though I'm happy they did), so did UCLA. UA got its doors blown off. I think only Stanford is still alive in the NIT. Meanwhile, they're spending $150MM on sports venues, the Pac-12 TV contracts is horrible and all the talent is headed east. Not to mention the widening east-coast bias. The Pac-12 commish needs to do something and fast.

On the positive side, ASU still has the curtain of Distraction. Yes it's a gimmick, but so what?
