The following update on the Roof Lift at Cardinals Stadium was provided this afternoon by Robert S. Aylesworth, Executive Vice President with the Hunt Construction Group:
”By the end of the day on Saturday, the roof had been elevated 103 feet above the stadium floor. Following a routine inspection of lifting equipment, Mammoet (the lifting contractor) decided to replace some of the lifting wedges and workers are spending Sunday performing that maintenance. The lift is expected to resume on Monday morning, at which time the roof will be raised another 53 feet and then lowered into its final position.”
TELEVISION MEDIA: As a reminder, a satellite feed containing video footage from the roof lift will be available today from 4:30-5:00 p.m. (M.S.T) / 6:30-7:00 PM (E.S.T.). It can be accessed at the following location: SBS-6, K2, Uplink Frequency 14049.5 Horizontal/Downlink frequency 11749.5 Vertical.
