Well, I am back Jersey and still smiling from all the fun I had with you guys during the game. I knew I would have a good time, but I didn't know it would be THAT good! I can't remember the last time I had so much fun. I hate to single people out for fear of missing someone, but there are a few people that I absolutely must address.
Ryan, Assface and jw7 -- You guys are awesome. I am so glad we ran into you early so we could walk (okay, stumble) around to see everyone before the game. Assface was super for carrying my heavy cooler filled with beer from the East. (Ryan helped, too, but Assface was the true trooper.) You guys really are the best.
DieHard and Bleeding Red -- Thanks for the super pre- and post-game tailgate party. You guys really know how to do it up right. Too bad the weather eventually got us. Diehard, thanks for carting us around to all the bars after the rain came. We had a blast. Hope you and Tiff didn't get too much hassle.
Nidan, Brighteyes, jstadvl, Duckjake and AZCardsWin21 (I believe) -- Thanks for the tailgating and drinks after the game. Also thanks for storing our cooler. We had so much. And a special thanks to DUCKJAKE for hooking me up with an Anquan bobblehead. You are so generous and the fact that you ran back up the ramps to get it for me was much appreciated. You are the greatest!
Section 11, birdie and Cardinal Ken -- Thanks for hanging after the halftime meet for the second half. So what if I missed the second half of the game and had to ask if we were winning (more than once, in fact). It was so nice to talk with you guys and meet you in person. Good times. And Ken, thanks for hooking me up with beer I didn't necessarily need after they cut sales after the third quarter.
And to everyone else I met at halftime -- BIM, Ouchie, AZDAD, Sir Chaz, Stout, andikrist and, geesh, EVERYBODY! I can't express how awesome it was to finally be part of the gang. I love you guys!
I would love to come back in December, but it's probably not possible so close to the holidays. I actually shed some tears on the plane ride home knowing I won't see you guys again for probably another year. (Even lost one of my contact lenses since I was such a wuss.)
Thanks again to you all. You really made my trip super awesome. You are all welcome out here the next time the Cards play the Eagles. I'll cart you all to AC the day before and then to the Linc on Sunday. (It's only a few years away, right?)
