This murderbot mystery type show set in Japan, playing on Apple TV, has been pretty damned good. Episode 8 really pissed in my Cheerios, for reasons in the spoiler, but overall I've been hooked.
A great conceit carried on far too long and turned the show soap opera-ish. Oh no, a horrible thing happened at the end of an episode. A death! But an entire next episode wraps without the body actually hitting the floor. Stupid.
Easy fix: The game show is in 3 acts. Start with the first segment, go back to the real world, rinse, wash, repeat.
