To you maybe, to me it's something else entirely. It would be like setting 1,000 dollars on fire to see if the god of volcanoes would reward you for your sacrifice and when nothing came your way, you followed it up by setting another 500 dollars on fire in the hopes that the god of flames would take pity on you and restore your 1500 bucks.

I wish that was all the Suns had at stake.

Btw, our Waffle House connection is putting his head on the block every day for you guys.

In that situation we keep the $1500 and spend it all at the waffle house.

I get where you and superbone is coming from. I really do. No one here is wrong, just difference in opinion on something we have no control over. It is a good thing we don’t have to make these decisions for the front office lol

If we had to decide we could turn Waffle House into Thunderdome. Many Suns fans enter, 1 GM leaves. WaffleDome!

I know I have been screaming this for close to a year now, but I think it is becoming obvious to everyone.

This team cannot and will not ever win a title with these big 3.

Yea we gave up everything for them. So what? It’s sunk cost fallacy to give a damn about that. This is not working and will not work.

The PG has been added that I told everyone would not fix the turnover problem - and it hasn’t.

A new coach has been added, and the team still sucks.

This team must be blown up. The longer we wait the less in picks and return we will get for kd and book.

Time to face reality.

It’s funny because supposedly we have a better roster and a better coach.

KD is a great player but his imprint on the team negates that.

Beal for cp3 was a “steal” but his availability negates any of that. Also he’s not clutch, when we need a bucket or someone to go to he chokes more often than not.

KD is a modern day Dominique Wilkins. Fun to watch on another team but not someone you want your team paying a king's ransom for. He's not a leader and he won't carry you over the top.

Current KD is the modern day Nique but prime KD was a top-3 player for like 10 straight years. Dude can barely dribble at this point.

The KD trade could have worked IF CP3 didn't go old man on us overnight. A penetrating PG that can score could have set the table for both Book and KD and kept the turn overs at a lower rate. The timing sucked. If we had the first year CP3 we had when we got KD, we would probably be one of the top teams. Also, compound that with Ayton going into suck hell and losing all motivation. Those two guys going downhill started this whole skid.

Well, yes but what their decline really should have started was an awakening to the fact that we were a lot more than just a superstar away from winning it all. We don't have KD at his best, if we did though, things would be a lot better right now. We'd easily make the playoffs and probably advance a round or two but even with KD at his best, this isn't a championship roster - unless you catch the league in an injury plagued season like we did in our finals run.

The Heat have no interest in acquiring Bradley Beal from the Suns in a trade involving Jimmy Butler.Miami was against pursuing Beal in 2023, and nothing has changed. If Phoenix wants Butler, they will have to convince Beal to waive his no-trade clause to another destination.

Holy crap, this happened today. I was listening to the podcast 2 days ago and she was running it.

What a terrible thing to do 4 days before Christmas. Screw PHNX. I will miss hearing from Gerald, but I'm out. Hopefully Lindsey will sign on with another pod. Nobody listens to PHNX Suns Podcast for Espo.

Steven is super smart, but I don't like his voice. And Eric is totally unbearable.
I always felt that format was doomed, there just
At this point.. if the pick gets the deal done then lets do it..

We already sold the farm to get Durant. Might as well keep going..

Its like buying a Nissan GTR T Spec and debating if you should pay the extra couple hundred bucks for all weather floor mats. You already spent a lot so screw it lol
They need to sell Durant yesterday... Dude is obviously cancer, Suns have basically sucked since the trade. Another couple of years and he may hold the franchise record for turnovers

Good morning. The Suns are 14-14, and 18th in the league in net rating. Basketball-Reference now gives them just a 15% chance of even MAKING the playoffs (seeds 1-8). It feels very over.

The Suns are a team to watch as a trade suitor for Dorian Finney-Smith.Phoenix is seeking more defensive versatility and size on the wing, which Finney-Smith would provide.Phoenix can make salaries work by trading Jusuf Nurkic or Grayson Allen to the Nets or a third team.

The only way the Suns are getting out of this is by trading KD or Book. Those are the only moves that would get big returns. There is no miracle Beal takers, every other move is marginal at best. This absolutely sucks and I can’t believe the Suns are where they are right now.

Well you should have.

The KD deal was all or nothing. We got the nothing.

The Suns have a worse record, point differential and net rating than the Clippers and Spurs. Currently they are the 11-seed in the west. The schedule is tough until we play @Charlotte on 1/7 so it’ll get uglier.

It would be dumb to trade Nurkic for him. Allen might be too much also. Finney-Smith is a tweener and we need someone who can actually bang inside for rebounds and protect the rim.
