I honestly love it that some players are getting run over by organizations. Far too often we've seen these crybabies trying to switch clubs. If you sign a contract you are supposed to play it out. That is how contracts work. You might get traded. That is part of the game. Look at your payslip. This is for running around and bouncing a ball through a hoop. Come on.

true - you can come off the bench - with no chance of being said all-star again
I think his all-star ship has sailed but yeah, maybe if he were the #1 player on a team again. But, it sounds like a steady home environment is more important to him and his family.

I don’t think we could unload him even without a NTC. Nobody wants to blow thru the aprons/tax for a borderline top-50 player. We made our bed.

I don’t think he even sniffs top 100 right now.

He’s producing like a mid tier starting guard… when he’s healthy, and he’s rarely healthy.

If it wasn’t Jake Fischer it would raise my eyebrows, but that guy is correct less than flex in Jersey.

But the local radio guys today were talking about hoping the Suns send Durant to Houston, something they wouldn’t broach even a few weeks ago.

Well that is ridiculous.

He is a good scorer. He will still average 25 ppg on any team he is the primary option. That certainly makes him top 100.

I get Suns fans are angry at him because he has not produced like we hoped, but our expectations were not reasonable. There is no team in history that had 3 guys averaging 25 a night. There just aren't enough possessions in a game for that to happen.

In retrospect the trade was just a bad idea. We knew he was not a good defender or rebounder, or a great spot up shooter. Paying 50 million a year for him to effectively be a role player just makes no sense - because his one elite skill is being able to ISO better than an average player, and we already had 2 guys better than him at that.

how about if you're getting paid like one of the 5 best players in the world and you're not even an All-Star?
Are you talking about Booker?

Because to me I am more disappointed with him. He has no excuse at having a lack of opportunities, he has just had a bad season. But everyone considered him a top 12 player going into this season, and he certainly has not played like it.

Oh please let this be true. Kuminga plus picks is really not a bad deal at all at this stage of KD's career.
Yup. I’d be all over that.

Then trade Booker to Houston for most of our picks back and we’re looking at at a solid start to rebuild off with two promising young AND athletic players and a boat load of picks.
