As far as Beal goes, I think the Suns are stuck with him for at least one more season. There are two problems- his contract and his no-trade clause. As far as the no-trace clause, I think the Suns need to make it clear they are not going to extend him. As a regular free agent, he is going to have a very hard time finding a team with enough cap room to give him a good contract. His best bet is to get traded to a team that can use bird rights to sign him to his next contract. I think it would be in his best interest to get traded to a team that wants him.

That said, I don't think his NTC is the problem. I think the real problem is that he is just not good or healthy enough for anyone to actually want him and his contract. Someone might take him the offseason after next one as an expiring contract, but at that point there is no incentive for him to wave his NTC.

At best, he is going to be here next year, and most likely is that the Suns are stuck with him until his contract expires. Perhaps letting his contract expire and clearing some cap room might be the best they can hope for. I just don't see how they can get rid of him, even if he waived his NTC. I actually don't have a problem with Beal. He seems like a good guy, decent player, and a true professional. The problem is that he is on an insane contract, and he can't stay healthy for five games straight. You can't build a lineup with him in it because there will be no continuity due to him missing one third to one half of the games.
I see two ways this plays out. Either they get under the second apron, try and grab a big to accompany the big three until Beals' contract runs out. That fits giving KD a two year extension as Ishbia has been saying, At that point, both Beal and KD will have played out the contracts. Beal has a player opt in for the 2026-2027 season. KD is signed through the 2025-2026 season.

The second way is they trade KD and build around Booker and Beal. They will be stuck with Beal through that 2026-2027 season.

Either way, I don't think they can trade Beal, either.

Front office changes might or might not happen. I think they ride one more season with Bud. Coaching changes have not worked yet.

They’ll “do right” by KD because stars go where they want. I’m looking at the 3 Texas teams.

Let's hope Durant is willing to be traded to more than one team, otherwise it could be the Jimmy Butler situation all over again.

Cody Martin or Micic are not helping move the needle on wins and losses for this squad. I love the Martin twins, but Cody isn't Super Man!

If Martin can play good defense, he is needed.

It just depends on who he is out there with. If they p[air him with Dunn, they can slow down the runs to the basket. If he plays by himself with the usual suspects, it's not going to work. They switch off guys to the weaker defender. We need two good guys with size at the same time out there. The real problem has not been finding the three shooters. Martin and Dunn could really help on that if paired together.

I see Martin filling Okogie's role. The problem with playing both Martin and Dunn together, as you are aware, is shooting.

The problem with them not playing with the shooters is the shooters keep giving the points they score right back the next trip down the floor. We need to get some defense mixed in with our scorers. If Dunn got back his three point shot that wouldn't be a problem.

1. Replace James Jones

2. Announce that they are listening to all offers

3. If they get good deals for our big three then hit it

4. Might as well stay with the same coach, or promote him to GM and let assistant coach get head coach position.

We need to rebuild the roster before looking at coaching issues. We are screwed anyway so let us not hold a fire sale but ensure we get good value back. For instance Beal might have a negative trade value, so we have to keep him, but if we get something good for Durant and Booker then sell.

It eerily hangs over the club nevertheless, and the loss means Phoenix (28-33) now sits four games behind the Dallas Mavericks for the No. 10 spot in the Western Conference standings with 21 games remaining. - Arizonasports.com

Kevin Durant calls Suns’ loss to Timberwolves ’embarrassing’ for team and fans Damon Allred, Arizonasports.com

This team is circling the drain with 21 games left. Turn overs have been the story all year, 22 last night allowing a season high 40 points for the Twolves. STILL they commit them. Any basketball team I had ever been on, the coaches would go back to fundamentals in the passing game. Especially if it was this persistent. You may say, "These guys are pros and don't need to be shown how to pass." Evidently, NOT. This has been a problem for 3 seasons now. In football they would make you carry the ball around 24X7 to keep on your mind protecting the ball. These guys are literally handing wins to their opponents.

Frustrating that it should be something easily fixable. Coaches and players both should be embarrassed this has gone on so long.
