i usually get baked in the morning before work and contemplate the suns - often as im writing - which turns into a rant that's too lengthy - but not today - i kinda think they called it quits last night dropping 4 games behind dallas with 20 to go and don't forget we have the funnest schedule - yeah - i think i'll walk the dog instead - it's only 51° outside

It's going to be interesting if the Suns can stay out of the play-in. Who would have thought?

Dallas looks to fall from 10th place in the standings with the injury to Kyrie. And Portland is coming on, but do they really want to lose their draft position?

With Wembanyama out, I can't see the Spurs being interested.

Still, out of the bunch, the Mavericks appear the most hungry to make the play-in.

mavs have had no qualms tanking in the recent past - they know they aren't going anywhere this year but the fans will 100% demand someone's head if they don't make the playoffs after making the finals

It's going to be interesting if the Mavericks can make the play-in without Irving and Anthony Davis… plus other injuries.

And the Suns can't win with their three supposed stars healthy.

At this point, losing is embarrassing for the Suns, even with the difficulty of their schedule.

FWIW the Wolves have the tiebreaker over us.

The Blazers and Mavericks each finished 2-2 against us so it goes to conference record to be the tie breaker. Whoever has the better in conference record takes the lead. Right now the Suns are 18-21 with Dallas at 22-21 and Blazers are 15-28. The Kings and Spurs each have games against us still, we're 1-1 vs San Antonio and they can take the series in game 81. The Kings are 2-0 against us and we face them 2 more times, either game can seal their tiebreaker win for them if they beat us while we need to win both to tie. We play them to finish the season also, game 82. For Sacramento since they're in our division. the tiebreaker, if necessary, would go to division record instead of conference if we can somehow win both. We are 7-4 and they're 4-7. However Sacramento is ahead of us by 4.5 games right now.

Basically our tiebreakers are all over the place and considering we're 4 games back from the 10th seed, it doesn't look good with 21 games to go.

if gillespie can bring that energy night in night out he's a baller - i won't care if his 3 isn't falling if he's playing stellar defense and penetrating on offense

I would really like to see gillespie and dunn get some time together - that's that youth in a bottle other teams put out - sheer intensity
