we're never getting our first round picks back so our suckage will not be our savior

trades not acquisitions are the only path to relevance but if we're talking about book and kd it's not so simple - we'd have to secure first round draft picks that have the highest probability of becoming lottery picks

how do you do that when both book and kd will both want to go to contenders? are we talking three-way and four-way trades? or by finding contenders that have first round picks from scrub squads?

im guessing beal is shut down - he damn sure isn't starting and probably feels some type of way about it - the stat pieces that came out last week placing the blame squarely on bradley were brutal - i don't think he's the problem per say but we're done trying to diagnose "the" problem when we obviously have so many

but bradley beal is the problem - how can you gain consistency on a roster with someone who's injured all the funking time - how can you possibly fix this team's financial situation with that same injured player eating $53(?) million of the pie?

this turned out to be the most ishiotic deal of all imo - jj's last 3 major trades have made him look like the village ishiot

I think the league will change from here on out in regards to trades. I do not believe we will see those ridiculous trades with 5 FRP's attached. I think a few teams with their stupid moves ruined it for the rest of the league.

Those three major trades were doozies for sure and then the Suns attached a first round pick to send Nurkic on his way.

wanna talk about depressing lol watching march madness knowing we don't have a shot at anybody
Our only hope is getting under the aprons and using money to buy our talent. That means when BOTH KD and Beal leave then we can rebuild.

I keep listening to different Suns podcasts and they bring up just sitting Beal, like they did with Jae Crowder. They all say, that's not going to happen.

It's kinda obvious that Beal is keeping the Suns from making the team significantly better because of being over the second apron. The Beal family obviously love living in the Valley. You have to do something to make Beal want to leave. Not playing him is about the only thing we have left.

I understand the theory of sitting him but that has the potential to blow up so much worse. Why would anyone want to come here again? If we lose, the owner sits you and forces a buyout? That's a PR nightmare for an owner trying to be player friendly.

idk what we're going to do all off-season

maybe we can all argue over who we would've drafted and about what they would or wouldn't have done with the suns

i won't be surprised by anything - even if they traded dunn

Kellan Olsen says this might be the last time we see KD this Season:

What you should know is Suns forward Kevin Durant heavily twisted his left ankle on a drive to the basket in the mid-third quarter. He walked back to the locker room with a heavy limp and did not return. With two weeks to go in the season, the inescapable thought arrives if this was the last time we saw him in a Suns jersey. Durant will have an MRI on Monday.

If so, an injured KD may not be able to be traded for his maximum return. Also, there is some conjecture by NBA insiders that you would have to extend KD prior to a trade in order to help maximize his value if traded. So don't freak out if you see a KD extension. This injury may possibly add some intrigue to the KD situation.

We did trade for him while he was injured. Only right he leaves injured.

If it's a turned ankle it will be fine. The only thing that might is if the injury requires surgery.

The Clipps are 10 games above .500 and the Suns are 5 games below .500. If you compare rosters the records should be flipped. Kawhi has only played in 30 games. It’s not a talent issue something is rotten.

i think kd's ankle will be fine only because he walked himself back to the locker room - he took his time but if he thought he was doing further damage he wouldn't have

i also think there's a small part of him that would be more than happy to be done with this season - i think everybody wants this season over at this point

I was hoping the Suns would finish the season without any injuries. They need to sit Booker as well.

that vast uncomfortableness we found ourselves in at the end of our last two playoff appearances has transcended to engulf our entire season - it truly was the worst season ever - i don't want to recognize this team next year
