Of course it's just the Clips once again.. but Nash and Amare look like their old selves for the first time all year. The offense looks SO MUCH LESS BOGGED DOWN now that we're only very selectively feeding Shaq.

if i were the suns' coach,
i would start shaq,
but will pull him out after 5mins,
so, when Nash sits,
i'll insert shaq again so we can post him up as many times as the defense allows.

I think Amare doesn't want to be traded. He's really playing like he's trying to prove something.. I wish the trade deadline would be up to June, so that Amare would be playing like he's going to be traded.

Maybe this whole thing will turn out to be for the best.. because obviously when he isn't loafing like he was all year up to this point pretty much he's still just a beast.

The whole trade thing I think really might have made him realize that this is where he wants to be and sulking/not giving a worthy effort is pointless. The coaching change isn't going to hurt either.

blocked here in the office.

too bad no?

haha it seems that you have to answer this question at least once per game. I'm glad your office still doesn't know that they should block ASFN.

Glad we picked up the tempo in the 2nd quarter. I think in the 1st quarter they kind of sat back in their laurels after demolishing this team last night.

Suns up 67-53 after the 2nd quarter. :) Suns shooting 55% with 3/9 3 pointers, Clippers 42% with 3/8 3 pointers.

Suns and Clippers have both committed 4 turnovers.

Suns have 9 offensive rebounds, Clippers 6.

Suns have hit 8/10 free throws, Clippers have hit 12/16 free throws.

Suns have 44 points in the paint, Clippers 18. :)

Great 1st half by Amare with 29 points on 12/15 shooting 5/6 free throws and 7 rebounds. :)

And BIG SURPRISE that letting the offense flow like normal has us with 4 turnovers at the half instead of our normal 10-12. Hmm.

Good offensive first half but the Suns need to pick it up on defense.
