Well one good thing is even though we sucked the last two games we stayed close and won one.

You nailed it. In retrospect, Game 3, which the Suns really had no business winning, is now huge. The Suns have shot terribly the last two games but still have the advantage in the series. If they can ride the home crowd to start getting some shots to drop in Game 5, they could still close it out in 6.

Let me go on to say that this board is getting over-moderated.

And you are slowly becoming an annoying person....

There were SEVERAL instances where Nash and Boris would drive into the middle and kick out when they should have gone for the hoop instead. They never tried to get any of the Clippers in foul trouble.

We live by the three and die by the three. You knew it was going to happen a couple times in the playoffs.

My guess is Nash is in a lot of pain right now and taking a hard foul doesn't appeal to him.

No...the curse filter is there for a reason. Don't try to get around it.

Period. End of story. Don't like it, go somewhere where they will put up with it. You are the guest in someone's house and nothing more.

Its deadlocked again, so its like the home team won in each game...

Game 5 is back home, if the Suns can win that... then huge pressure on the Clippers... who are very beatable at home.

okay - we know why Marion sucked tonight (playoffs... it's becoming a given)... what's Nash's excuse? Any update on him phsycially? Just tired or is his back acting up on him - the guy got more rest tonight than he did in most playoff games and he was just AWOL - not shooting, getting caught in the trap... any update in the post-game presser?

Went ot eh game and I got one tidbit of info that I thought was HILARIOUS. During the third, Ouchie and I were talking smack with a Clipper fan in front of us and at the end of the exchange, the guy, wearing a Clippers jersey just turned and pointed - at first we thought he was pointing to the scoreboard, but then he said... and I kid you not... "Talk me when you've got banners up there." A Clippers fan POINTING TO LAKER BANNERS! We just laughed at him and decided he was the most pathetic fan in the history of pathetic fans.

Seriously - it would be like being at a Cardinal game and someone from Seattle giving you crap and pointing to the ROSE BOWL CHAMPIONSHIP in the old ring of honor at SDS. Classic, absolutely classic.

This whole series comes down to Game 5 - whoever wins, takes this sucker. Hopefully Nash is okay and shows up, cause we know chances are better than not that the Tortilla won't.

Hey guys, don't get despondent all of the sudden.

Remember, Marion and Thomas both got into foul trouble early and had to sit. Hence we got beat on rebounds.

Give the team some credit for its effort. We came so close to stealing this one also from the clips when the score was 105-106.

Last year we were tied 2-2 with the Mavs in the second round. Then we went off to win the series in 6.

Don't count out the Suns.

ho ho! easy guys. Mr.Mod seems to have quite a temper. I'm sure you could've done better than stomp over az for his statement. I felt that was a bit harsh and rude , considering we're all hear to root for the Suns.
Ok. I guess its my turn to get the heat now. Reminds me of kindergarden.

Sorry I had received multiple complaints about swearing during the Lakers/Suns series and I was asked to clean it up by the powers that be.

This comes up every time someone on a public board does it. It's the same rule on every individual board we have...

Swearing is a bannable offense and using alternate signs to get around it is not an acceptable option. Kids read this board. Parents who have kids in their lap read this board. People at work read this board. Ect...

Ok, so I didn't watch tonight and we lost. Man, I had 4-game winning streak with this!

Well, I figured after game 3's hard battling inside, we probably ran out of gas. The series can easily take it to game 7.

I am just happy that we stole one on Friday. That's huge. The series is just tied now. No surprise. Hopefully Nash can rest more.

How come House didn't play at all? Was he injured or just being ineffective?

Is that even a legitimate question?

Eddie House hasn't been effective in ANY of the Suns playoff games this year.

Where was the Shawn Marion everyone was pimping as one of the top 20 players in the league tonight? I love the guy, but the philosophy didn't change between games, and in this one, Cassell went off on him.

Prepare for the "I didn't get the ball enough" diatribe.

oh - how the tide has turned. E tu, Chap? E Tu?:)

Man, I HATE being right about the Tortilla. Looks like we need to start a new thread ripping Shawn to shreds - or maybe we can pray that the All-NBA teams will be announced between now and Game 5 and hopefully Marion's left off of all them - seems like that's the only thing that gets his skittish butt going in the playoffs...

Game 5 - decides the series - period.

Well, I figure a few mins won't hurt. We are already short handed.

Nice attitude, pal! Nice attitude!

And you have to remember that you are a house keeper for someone's house and nothing more.

I have been on this board ever since it started even though my post count may not indicate that. And the board before this one. But this is the first time I'm seeing an over zealous moderator who is stepping in pretty much every forum editing a bunch of threads, issuing for the most part unnecessary warnings and threats. Looks like someone is misusing his athority a little bit.

We come here to seek a little diversion from the tough life out there and don't need to be strictly police around. I believe the posters here for the most part are very well behaved and decent folks keeping it clean and we don't need this unnecessary nudging all the time for minor stuff.

Anyway, lets forget about it and move forward...

Maybe Chris should work for the NSA.:D
