Plumlee, Marcus and three PGs has given the Suns a chance to win.

Why do some fans say Goran is a terrible defender...he is not physical or very athletic like Bledsoe but he plays the passing lane very well to disrupt the opponents offense

He is a fine defender unless he has to guard smaller, quicker point guards.

I'm still kind of stunned the Suns won. I mean, it has been awhile.

We beat a 6-18 team. Sadly, if we are stunned at that, we're really in trouble.

And we barely won it. If it weren't for Kemba chocking, this would have gone the other way.

In all fairness though, the Suns actually played some good D in the 4th.

Breaking out of a losing streak can be tough. Charlotte has beaten the Suns already this season and they were on their homecourt.

BC867, to cheer you up, maybe I can can ask Jeff to play four PGs and a center. :D

Seriously, the Suns were in a bad downward spiral.

Yeah, the the "Center" would probably be Mook. :)

If you ask. :D

Well he did take up some slack with Markieff out. I will take a win any way they can get it.

Another off game for Bledsoe.

Its amazing that we paid him more than what the Raptors paid Lowry who is playing at a way higher level and leading a much better team. Granted its in the East but still, we have had trouble against East teams as well.

Even Kemba looked better today than Bledsoe. And Kemba signed for less than Bledsoe also.

I hope McD learned his lesson to not cave in to players on rookie contracts who barely played half a season as starter. If he didn't learn his lesson, then well I doubt he will be around for much longer.

I don't understand how posters think that he's worth his contract. I don't understand how posters think he's criticized unfairly with games like this.

I don't think they'll Fire the GM for the bledsoe signing. He's done some positive things as well.

Well, I don't think anyone is saying he is worth that money now, but the hope is that he will develop and become worth it. I disagree and think that Bledsoe will never be worth much- undersized shooting guards that can't shoot usually aren't worth $15M per year, but that's the argument, I think.

I think some of this has to do with Sarver and not just McDonough. IMO, it goes back to the Suns not signing JJ to an extension and then JJ wanting out in free agency. I don't think the Suns wanted to make this type of mistake again. However, JJ was worth the money. I'm not so sure about Bledsoe.

Fortunately for us he's as much a point guard as he is a shooting guard and we have him for the low price of 14 million per. As long as we pair him with another guard that can also run the offense, I think he'll be worth his salary. He's still playing excellent defense.

So what is 10 million between friends 12M per versus 14M per for 5 years. :)

Actually I guess the math would be different for a 4 year contract.

No, I think the math would be the same, it's just the numbers that would change.;)

Your right but Tony Allen plays excellent defense too and he costs...$4 million.

Bledsoe costs over 3 times more than Allen.

I don't know, I feel like Bledsoe is completely capable of putting up good numbers and becoming a good player because he actually does it from time to time. However then he has too many stints like this where he plays like he doesn't care. Never once have I seen Bledsoe turn the ball over and actually show remorse for turning it over. You see guys like CP3, Curry, Wall etc when they turn it over, you can tell their pissed. When Bledsoe turns it over, he has a smile which says "Oh haha my bad dawg, no big deal lets get back here and try and pretend like we play defense since my ******* just turned it over for the 5th time haha".

I read today that Bledsoe is ranked 38th out of 45 point guards for assist to turnover ratio.

That's pathetic. I gave him a break last season for his turnovers because that was his first season as starter, but hell no I'm not giving him any more breaks anymore, he's a 2nd year starter on a $14 million per year, $70 million freaking contract.

Its disgusting that Kyle Lowry makes less money than him and is playing MUCH better basketball than Eric Bledsoe. Every time I watch the Raptors, I get so frustrated watching Lowry play. I would have rather us given Lowry a $16M/yr contract than give Eric Bledsoe a $12M/yr contract.

Both contracts would be an overpay but the difference is that one guy is still balling after receiving the big contract while the other guy is coasting.

Bledsoe is best friends with Lebron and hangs out so much with him...I wish he could pick up on LeBron's work ethic, effort and basketball IQ.

...and there it is. I'm surprised it took this long for someone to say this.

I think you are referring to their 3 point shooting. They were a combined 13-32 last night.

Correct. I assumed I didn't need to specify, but thank you for clearing that up for anyone who thought I was not talking about three-point/ long-range shooting.
