It wasn't you, it was Mainstreet who indicated the lack of effort.

Yes. I mentioned it. All I see is garbage time out there.

When the game was on the line, I did not see the effort.

I find myself rooting for Siler and Dowdell.

At least Nash increased his lead over Rondo in the battle for the assists title (9 vs 5 today). :)

You mean in the first three minutes?

Unfortunately, I was expecting this to happen once playoffs were out of the picture. It's not like they aren't playing hard, but it's difficult to be motivated when there is nothing to play for. And an unmotivated Suns team is as bad as any of the worst teams in the league, hence the recent blowouts.

IMO, playing hard means giving 100%. The players should play for pride if nothing else. I just did not see any intensity out there by the Suns especially on defense. The only time the Suns would start to creep up on the Mavs is when they got sloppy like the Suns. I expect the Suns to be at least reasonably competitive which they are not. They are like the Washington Generals playing the Harlem Globetrotters.

Hopefully the guys will play hard for the final 2 home games at least particularly against the Spurs.

Suns are making it too obvious that their tanking.

56% from the FT line? That has to be a franchise record. You have to aim and purposely miss to shoot 18-32 from the FT line.

The more scary observation is that the Suns are not tanking. I do not think the Suns are purposely losing. However, the effort is not there.

A further reason for appreciating Gortat. He led the team in scoring and rebounding vs. Dallas.

His teammates didn't tank, but they gave up. Two more games, then it's in the books and we start again. Perhaps Marcin should read the riot act to our Front Office. :)
