Yea but they were missing their two key players, Galinarri and Chandler. Not to mention no Rudy for the bench.

And the loss doesn't hurt our playoff chances but it eliminates the possibility of trying to get a spot better than the 8th seed.

Yeah, we'll we're missing two key things too - Hill and talent. My point has to do with how a few people on this board frequently rip the team when we lose. We're just not all that talented so to me it makes no sense to call us chokers or to blast the team for throwing away the game. All too often, we are the second best team out there and the fault lies more with management than anything else.

If we are leading the game late in the 4th QTR, that means that we clearly have the talent to outplay the other team and win the game. But then its gut check time and some guys just don't have it. That can also be a HC's fault imo.

That's why I want Eric Gordon here so badly! He lit up the best team in the NBA for 31 pts...did they still lose? Well yea cause they don't have any quality role players or anything.

Suns are the complete opposite. We have quality role players (Dudley, Brown, Gortat and sometimes Frye) but we don't have a go to guy.

Suns #1 priority this off season should be to get Eric Gordon here. I don't care if we have to make him the highest paid player in NBA history or if we have to trade everything to get him, just bring his 23 year old *** to PHX!

Wow he scored 31 points and the entire 2nd half was garbage time.

Besides New Orleans will match anything. What kind of signal would it send to their fans if they let go the player they traded Chris Paul for? And what would New Orleans do with capspace? No FA is going to go there.

In the 4 games he's played this year, he's done something significant in each one. He hit a game winner against us, had 20+ pts against Phill before getting hurt, he the game winner again against the NUGGETS (the team we lost to) and had 31 against the best team in the NBA.

He's what they call....um ah what's that word? Oh yea, FRANCHISE PLAYER! He's a Wade/Roy in the making.

And if New Orleans matches, then bummer. But I would rather Sarver at least try and make this team better and try and offer him a max contract even if it gets matched than just sit there going "oh f**k it the Hornets are gonna match our offer so we might as well just sit there and maybe sign Beasley or something and call it an off season."

The Hornets don't even have an owner so they me relecunt on adding big contracts to the team cause that would look unattractive to a owner canditates. Plus Gordon has a bit of an injury history so they may feel he's not worth it. We can maybe do a sign & trade with them and send Morris and our 1st rd pick this year or a future protected 1st rd pick or something. Lets face it, we're not getting a player better than Gordon in the draft this year anyway since we're gonna picking at best late lottery.

And what would New Orleans do with capspace? No FA is going to go there.

They can do what the Cavs did and take on bad contracts for good draft picks. For example they can take Blatche from Washington since he's such a headache for the Wizards and is expensive but in return the Wizards give the Hornets their unprotected first rd pick.

Or they can trade for Charlie V or Ben Gordon from the Pistons and ask Detroit to throw in a first rd pick.

There are a lot more options, but you get my point.

Eric Gordon is not far from being worth the max., IMO, IF he can stay healthy.

If we have to overpay someone, he should be the guy (if in his case it's an overpaying at all).

Unfortunately the Hornets will match anyway, unless Gordon wants to go elsewhere (ala Joe Johnson) and forces them to S&T him.

Yea lets just keep pushing it. In 2010 everyone said lets keep the flexibility for 2011. Then in 2011 lets just keep cap flexibility for 2012. Now we're just gonna keep cap flexibility for 2013?

Why don't we just wait and keep cap flexibility for 2030, aka the time when the Suns won't be owned by the Suns any more?

Plus I don't see OKC just losing Harden for nothing. If they feel like their gonna lose him then they'll trade him next season to whatever team offers the most for him.
