Time is running out on the Suns.... I'd like to see Brooks go off on his former team tonight and he definitely can.. As for him taking too many shots, who cares!! Go for it bro, our offense is sputtering thanks to the injuries and we could use the explosive offensive attack. :)

Go Suns!!

I've watched the Magic game, it was on TV here. It pretty much summed up the whole season: PHX can't play without Nash, Lopez is lost in translation, Warrick and Defense naturally repel each other, someone needs to play above their average (read: explode on offense) for the team to succeed, Brooks looks promising, Gortat is a rock, a consistent performer is needed (ironically, it turned out that performer was Frye, who is injured).

Having said all that, I still am considering staying up very late (1:30 am the game starts here) to watch this game on stream, because I like this team. Maybe it's the mentality that I like, maybe it's the fact that noone really knows what will happen each night (will Carter bring his half-amazing or half retired? Can Pietrus nail that turn-around contested corner threepointer? Does Warrick know who he is guarding? Will Lopez collect a rebound?) , so it really is fun to watch the team try to battle their way into the playoff spot. On the questions in the brackets, I'm hoping for 1st option, yes, yes, atleast 5 rebounds (this is me being unrealistic haha, but hey, fans can dream)... Go Suns!!

I respect your perseverance. If this were a late game I would be going to be bed on time.

I don't think it is that the Suns can not play without Nash.

They can. The problem is that there is no teeth in the 2nd unit now without Nash and Frye in the starting line up. That brings 2 unit people into the starting lineup and the bench now is lame.

Remember, our bench was putting up 64, 63 points on folks on that last road trip before Frye went out. Teams couldn't match that. And now they don't have to.

The only way the Suns win now is with a ton of heart. And I didn't see that in the Magic game. We'll see what happens tonight.

In a van...down by the river.
Nash will sit out the game tonight in Houston and could miss the New Orleans game as well. With Nash and Frye out, the Suns playoff hopes are dimming rapidly.

Not a bad thing IMO.
Get into the lottery and give yourself a chance in the draft. Looking ahead to life without your aging superstar is a inevitable reality.
Many have claimed that the SUNS simply cannot play well w/out Nash. I agree(offensively),but why is that a surprise? This is a team built around an offensive PG. Its not rocket science why the wheels fall off when he's not on the court.

I'll be watching tonight.

I'm certainly thinking getting into the lottery is not a bad thing. No matter how one looks at the Suns, their window closed last season. The injuries to Nash and Frye just make it more obvious.

Hill is off, so is Carter. I won't even mention Lopez. It could get ugly quick.

It gets ugly quick everytime we start the drunken afro. Then Gortat comes in and we try and battle back. Biggest joke in the league starting Lopez over Marcin...but at last I have learned to laugh at this joke.:D (took a while)

Brooks is making nice passes to Houston players. Maybe he should check his uniform.

The announcers were saying Gentry was not too upset about the Suns last two losses... he should be.

We need to get Gortat going as early as possible in each game, the whole team gets it going with him on the court. Only bring in Lopez for a few minutes to rest Gortat when he is gassed. Carter has left the building again, I think Studley could average better #s than Carter getting the starts and minutes, and Studley plays better defense.

Without Nash and Frye in the game, the only adjustment Gentry makes is starting Gortat after the half. Dan Majerle come on down...your the next contestant on coach my team! :D

Couldn't Majerle be more helpful if he suited up and played? :p
