It looks like Gerald Green carried the load in the 1st quarter with 8 points and 1 assist.

Austin Spurs beat the Bakerfield Jam (Suns) 90- 88 to win the playoff series.

I wish the Suns could get Erik Murphy off the Spurs D-League roster as he had 26 points and 18 rebounds. He is a solidly built 6'10" player who can score inside and out. Typical Spurs player because he plays smart. The Suns seem to not go after the bigger players who can hold their own. All-in-all, even the Spurs are bigger than the Suns in D-League and out rebound the Suns to get the win. The Suns need to start stocking their regular roster and D-League roster with players that have height and the heft to hold their own.

The announcers on the D-League playoff game today pointed to the Suns' success in developing and promoting players to their NBA roster. Those players are Earl Barron and Jerel McNeal. IMO, this does not point to the success of the Jam... rather the lack of it.

Go Suns, would be nice if we could end the year with a winning season

Gotta give it to you Main, you are a devoted fan.
It is so hard to watch this team right now, not because they are losing, God knows we seen a lot of those over the years but majority of 'em are just not likeable.

Thanks. I try to endure the bad times in hope there will be better times ahead. I agree, the Suns are hard to watch. The Suns are so predictable with their offense.

Earl Barron has 30/20 games in the D-League what is your point?

Are you honestly going to argue about the Austin Spurs beating Bakersfield? We took 5-6 players of the Bakersfield roster this season.

The score of the game or the loss meant nothing to me. It's the NBADL.

What I watch are the players. The Spurs had recalled Kyle Anderson.

The Spurs played like a mini version of their NBA squad and the Jam likewise a mini version of the Suns. Austin was the bigger team and out rebounded the Jam for the win.

The point I was making, the D-League Spurs concentrate on players that can run a more organized system and they seem to value height (with bulk) more than the Jam. I mean Earl Barron and Alec Brown could be blown away by a strong wind. I exaggerate, but not by much.

I think Erik Murphy of the Spurs (who is still in the D-League) would have had a better chance to impact the Suns than Earl Barron and Jerel McNeal. He is big, can rebound and shoot. The Suns need to concentrate on getting stronger big men on the Jam and on their NBA roster.

And could probably have 15/10 games in the NBA if the Suns knew how to use a Center properly.

right... because ANYONE who's 6'10 could get 15/10 out there if the Suns just put them on the floor. Stupid Suns not wanting to win and playing Baron, a guy that apparently can't even make ONE NBA roster would probably have 15/10 games in the NBA if the Suns just weren't so darn stupid.

He's in the NBADL for a reason. Probably because he's not very good.

However, he is on the Suns active roster. Still he is not a very good NBA center, with all due respect to the player.
