Suns up 75-72 after the the 3rd quarter. Suns shooting 55% with 5/12 3 pointers, Warriors 47% with 5/13 3 pointers.

Suns have committed 14 turnovers (Nash with 5), Warriors 10.

Suns have 3 offensive rebounds, Warriors 6.

Suns have hit 8/9 free throws, Warriors have hit 5/9 free throws.

Suns giving up too many easy baskets still. Also the offense hasn't been that good the last 2 quarters either with 21 and 23 points in the 2nd and 3rd quarter respectively.

Suns up 93-86 with 5:35 left in the 4th quarter after being up 14 a little bit ago. :(

It may be a good idea to get the ball out of Ellis's hands (38 points on 16/27 shooting with 3/5 3 pointers).

Finally they have a few practices. Barron started, but didn't think he was all that effective. I believe he only had 3 rebounds at halftime.

Ellis is a pretty good player.

Good win. Holding the high scoring Warriors to 101 pts is great.

But the Suns still gave up too many pts in the paint.

Ellis is a pretty good player.

Barron was the only reason Frye got his boards.

Barron boxed out & Frye would get the ball.

Seeing how the bench played so well with Frye, anyone else think Barron should start for us like Lopez did late last year?

If I remember ciorrectly, Gentry would take out Lopez like 5 min into the game and put Frye in but this allowed Frye to play more with the bench and they played well.

They should send Frye back to the bench not cause he isnt good enough but because the bench struggles without him and Suns starters will still play well even with Barron @ center but this gives them a physical player in the paint.

That was a nice win and a much better effort defensively and on the boards. Barron did help boxing out, and I think he'll only get better on the boards. Some practice time with the team would help. But the Suns should avoid giving him the ball on the offensive end.

Frye played well. I'm impressed with his improvement in shot blocking. He seems to get 2, 3 blocks every night.

I'm not sure the refs will let us give him the ball on the defensive end.:D

How many times did Ellis crossover J-Rich last night? Ellis is an amazing scorer, ridiculously quick with the ball. The lack of size in the GS backcourt is pretty evident though, and I'm glad Gentry abused that with J-Rich.

Frye is looking a lot better on defense. And he's getting a little smarter too in positioning himself. Hopefully he does get better, we really could use a defensive big man... I'm one of the biggest haters of Frye but even I see some promise in him now, he learned quick. I'm glad he isn't hesitating as much and just letting his shot go.
