Well the Suns can't hold their lead over 20 pts with LB, Hill, Marion, Diaw & Skinner out there so I don't think DJ or Marks is going to get a chance until the final 2-3 minutes.

Nash back in and gets his 19th assist. The record is his if he wants it, but he'll probably have to play the rest of the game. He's already gotten about 12 gametime minutes of rest + the qtr breaks & halftime so he should go for it.

Best offense I've ever seen. This really is amazing to watch. I really can't believe how good they've gotten.

Why are the starters in with 18 point lead and 5 min to go and a game tomorrow?

The record for assists in one game is held by Scott Skiles if I remember correctly. It's either 30 or 33...

probably because they play bad defense and without Nash, the offense is atrocious.

16-4 and on the way to 20-4... wake me when we get to that stretch against the Jazz, NO, SA, Dallas and LA.

that's a tough stretch

it'll be a good indicator of whether we're actually good or just good at beating up bad teams. It's also the first time we really get a look at all the playoff heavyweights and even lightweights in the West... well, since we lost back to back games against GS and Houston. If we played in the East, we'd win 70 games... much like the Celtics might. That conference is horrible... although, to tell the truth, the entire NBA seems pretty weak this year.

I sincerely hope you aren't sleeping through these games. Even though they are against weak competition, the Suns have just been amazing to watch.

and my JV basketball team was amazing against Phoenix Day School For the Deaf. Didn't mean anything till we played the big boys.

Like I said, I'm one of those people (admittedly) who just doesn't get jazzed up watching us kick the crap out of bad teams. Am I glad they're doing it? Hell yeah, but it doesn't tell me one way or another how good they are against the teams that matter and that's all I care about this year.

I am really excited for that stretch I listed - 3 of the 6 games will be on TV and I'll go to a bar to watch the SA game which isn't.

I understand your point, but it's just beautiful basketball. I haven't seen the Suns offense play like this in the last 4 years. Grant Hill is amazing. He's now shooting 36% from 3 too. Everyone on this team can shoot. Even Brian Skinner is taking midrange shots without hesitation and nailing them. Amare simply can't miss from outside. He's doing everything he's done his whole career but he isn't forcing anything.

The team had 42 assists on 50 made shots for crying out loud. It's beautiful basketball. I wouldn't miss it for anything.

Are you watching the games? If so, aren't you at least slightly excited that Amare Stoudemire and I mean THE Amare Stoudemire is getting pretty damn close to being back?

yeah, I'm happy about that. but I also expected as much. I thought it would take him about a month to round into form.
