I know you guys will jump all over me, but I’m liking Jamal Crawford’s contributions now. It took some time to integrate him but he by far the most effective vet IMO.

He's been great for instant offense off the bench. The problem has been Igor trying to expand his role beyond that, at the expense of playing time for Bridges and Okobo.

The "they're switching a lot, we're going to switch a lot" comment reinforces my concerns, though. Completely passive and reactive. We need a coach who is proactive and actually has some assertiveness and original ideas...not a weak copycat.

I'll be damned but it looks like Ariza is trying. Perhaps the personal problem he dealt with has helped him refocus on the team, or playing basketball. Since he's returned he's looked a lot more like the player he was in Houston last year.

Among the warts I loathe in Igor's rotations is the fact that Booker ends up playing the whole 1st and 4th quarters. I liked how D'Antoni (and later Gentry) used to sit Nash from about the 3 min mark of the 1st/3rd until the 9ish min mark in the 2nd/4th to take advantage of the TV timeouts plus the break.

Igor's obsession with Canaan is uncanny. The guy should never play. Okobo and Melton could not possibly be any worse, and at least there is a glimmer of hope that one or both of them might have a future in the NBA. Canaan is G-League material all the way. How in the world can Igor not see that?
