That's how I feel too. I honestly don't care his fluke start to the season, no additions we make during the summer will matter if Knight is still on this team next season chucking away at will. He's similar to Nick Young in so many ways. As a matter of fact, I would actually trade Knight to the Lakers for Young since Young only has 1 year left on his deal and is much cheaper. Only issue is that I doubt LAL wants Knight since both Clarkson and Russel will easily be better than Knight soon if their not already.

If Knight will accept being a sixth man next season there shouldn't be any problem. He should be accepted for what he is, a SG. I can understand fans being annoyed by his salary but it is what it is unless the Suns trade him. The Suns will have money to spend next season. Knight's salary may look like a bargain down the road.

I am with JC and Mainstreet. People were complaining he wasn't playing enough, and now they are complaining he is playing too much. Let the young man play. He probably developed more in half a year than he would have in two full seasons thanks to his increased role. If he's gonna be a star, he's gonna need to play a lot a lot of minutes with the added pressure of being the focal point of opponents' defense night after night. Let the young man learn. Same applies to Len to some degree. I only wish Warren wasn't hurt so he could speed up his development as well.

oh good lord... he is a shorter Nick Young... making double the amount of money for double the amount of years. what an awful move it was not only trading the Lakers pick for him but then doubling down on that move by giving him 70/5.

I'm not a fan of Knight, but he is more like Jamal Crawford (also not a player I like), only he thinks he is Curry. Nick Young on the other hand is just flat out trash. I'd be fine dumping Knight on the Lakers but if Young is what came back they'd be better off waiving him before he got off the airplane.

Exactly. IMO if Booker was playing 28 minutes a game many of the same people are are up in arms about him playing too much would be screaming that he should be playing at least 36. I know SF88 posted earlier in the season that Booker should get 40 minutes a game.

The trade itself was horrible. It was horrible then and it's horrible now.

As for the contract, we all knew that was going to happen. No way were they going to give up such a nice asset and then let him walk 3 months later. They were gonna overpay him no matter how much money it took.

I just hope that teams that need a guard will show interest in him like Knicks/Nets/Kings/Mavs etc. I actually think he may be a good fit on the Mavs, Carslie could probably have some use with him.
