Its ok guys we play the Hawks next and they are in a slump right now coming out of a big loss to Orlando and a loss to the 76ers today. We can take em if we play ok D and cut the turnovers.

Good job by Steve Nash and Grant Hill taking all of those charges in the second half. I think they took six combined charges but i could of missed counted.

Aside from 2 sloppy TOs late in 3rd being tired, Nash was fantastic on both sides of the court. Besides taking charges what the inexperienced Clippers stubbornly commited over and over, he covered his man very well. Keep up the great work, Stevie!

After one blown pNr defense, Porter pulled Amare to side to explain his mistake and he did it a little better at that subsequently. That's also great signs!

The only complain is Porter's 3rd quarter rotation and inability to get Barnes to play not as erratic. His 16 min on the court almost killed us!

Maybe it has already been mentioned on this thread but the Suns dropped their pants in not signing Fred Jones to a ten day contract. There would have been absolutely no gamble, but there he is, with a team (the Clippers) who are going nowhere. Unless Kerr pulls a rabbit out of his hat, Jones would have sufficed as a backup PG for the Suns. He is still quite an athletic player and is a 29 year old veteran who can play both PG and SG.

Let's hope that they cut him once Baron is back and we could pick him up for the playoff run!

Despite his assists today, Jones is not and never will be a PG. He is a SG.

More aptly put, he is a tweener. However, I'm not sure if the Suns can bring in a guard that can play the PG position better than him at least right now. He would have helped the Suns more than Dee Brown who was waived. I still hope Kerr has something better planned than bringing Dee Brown back. At least Jones can dress out and give a team legitimate minutes at the 1 or 2.

Exactly. He is a good defender and penetrator. Is he a decent 3pt shooter? Even not, he'd be a great insurance in case LB and Barnes disappear which happen quite often.

Unless we trade Barbosa, don't think about a high profile backup PG.

We have a 8 man rotation already, Barnes, Barbosa, Amundson. Dragic and Lopez needs minutes to develop, while Dudley and Tucker line up waiting for a chance. It is extremely hard to find minutes for another veteran. Whoever we sign, his role would be just like Dee Brown.

I think Barnes is playing with a bad back. ? A few games ago he had a wrap around his waist whenever he was not in the game.

I'm not thinking about a high profile player. Actually Fred Jones is a previously waived veteran player that is playing with the Clippers on a ten day contract. He can play some PG and SG. His salary would cost no more than Dee Brown.

I would hope the Suns are trying to win a Championship while the window is still partially open. I don't think the Suns are thinking about developing a PG at this stage. If the Suns signed a player like Fred Jones, he might get some minutes to backup Steve Nash now. Dragic is not NBA ready and LB needs to concentrate on what he does best at SG.

Develop Dragic And Lopez in the offseason.

Trying to win a championship is the whole thing. A championship team need perfect chemistry and a solid rotation, not necessarily 10 deep.

Barbosa, is the key point, he needs enough playing time to be productive. After we traded for J.Rich, Barbosa has to play the point a lot to reach 25mpg. So far, we have been doing quite OK with him there. Thus, we don't need to add a PG right now, because he won't get minutes regularly.

We should add a veteran to solidify our rotation, but I guess Kerr will wait til the very last deadline to do so.

From the beginning of camp Kerr wanted to rest Nash more and even give him some games off. He wanted to bring in a veteran like Lue and the rookie Dragic who I believed Kerr thought he could play now. Obviously Dragic is not producing and Lue signed elsewhere. So again tell me again why a competent backup PG wouldn't play? It's not just about minutes and having players in a neat rotation. It's about resting Steve Nash to prevent injuries and keep him fresh for the playoffs. When Nash is on the bench the team has trouble just staying afloat much less maintaining leads. The Suns are a much better team when Nash can get rest.

I am excited, I downloaded the full game in english and will watch it tomorrow. It is just weird to watch NBA basketball in a different language like the stream I had today.
