Second game with the new players. Hopefully better results this time. Carter still not playing and is reportedly 5-7 days from returning.

The Clippers game started several minutes ago. For those wanting to watch the Suns play, apparently that isn't scheduled for some time now. The Clips are on a 17 - 2 run and lead 26 - 12.

After watching a few minutes of this, two comments come to mind. 1) Looks like we are heading for the lottery; 2) Gortat has added nothing to our lack of interior D and rebounding.

I have to admit that D is horrible... too easy entries by Clippers...
but.... you have to admit, that with Nash Gortat plays quite nice on in offence.
also... i'm dissapointed with Gortat's lack of blocks... he should've at least 2 by now...

The one thing that comes to my mind is how much more talented this Clippers team is than we are. They really are loaded. If they can get everybody healthy, and IF Baron Davis should ever decide to play to his ability, IMO, they are a top 4 team in the west.

Gortat is not going to fix our problems. However, assuming we don't do something stupid (like trade him away) - I do think he gives us a little hope for the future.

Top 4? Seriously?

Eric Gordon is a nice player and Blake Griffin is Rookie of the Year, but don't go overboard. We are basically letting them make wide open shots. Eric Bledsoe and DeAndre Jordan are nice players, but they're not as good as they have been playing in this game.

Our problem is rebounding and defense once again. But when our best shooter misses his first 7 shots and there are no offensive rebounds, it just gifts the Clippers.

Also wanted to mention something is going on with Nash. He has been reluctant to shoot in recent games and now today when he puts up 8 shots in the first half, most of them were way off. I don't know if he is trying to play injured or what is up.

Eric Bledsoe is better. Since he was put into the second unit, he hasn't played as well as he has when he was starting. Jordan has actually improved since he replaced Kaman. Once kaman comes back, we will have a legit second unit.

It's going to take time but we'll get there. Griffin is arguably playing better than any PF in the league.

Would you switch rosters with them? Yes, yes, and yes.

They have nearly nothing committed for 2012 and will retain all their good players (Griffin, Gordon, Davis, Bledsoe, Aminu) for that season with like 30 mil in cap room.

Edit: That is to say, they aren't really a top 4 team right now but their future is really really bright if they don't **** it up.

Yes, top 4. But, keep in mind that I said IF. Baron Davis is a head case. Always has been and probably always will be. There is probably no way that he will ever play up to his abilities. If it happens though, he's one of the best PG's in the game. Add a star PG to that roster and I think it's comfortably a top 4 team in the west.

I'd trade our roster for Blake Griffin. I'd trade our roster for their roster even if they didn't include Blake Griffin. As bad as Sarver has been though, I'm not sure I'd trade ownership and management.

Anyone remember when was the last time the Suns got a layup in this game? Anything inside 10 feet? The Clippers are not as great of a defensive team as the Suns are making them out to be. The Suns are not executing anything offensively and keep settling for jump shots every time.

I hate to be a stickler about semantics, but would it have been so hard for you to just say "Nash is back" instead of "Nash's back"? And as long as we're on the subject, if Grant Hill does a sick crossover and his defender falls down, please don't say, "Grant Hill just broke his ankles!" :D

Not quite true. Since Baron got the starters job back, we've held teams under 100 -80 % of the time. That like 8 out of the last 10 games. Vastly improved.

How's your Polish? Mine sucks. And I have actually read the "XXX just broke his ankles" statement from someone that was not dealing with English as a second language.

Geez, that wasn't what he said. They're a good young team but NO WAY are they top 4 in the West, healthy or not. Just because they look great against our horrible defense doesn't make them one of the best teams in the league, LOL.

So now you're saying Sarver is worse than Donald Sterling? My goodness, next you're going to say that Transformers 2 was a good movie and Jack Black deserves an Oscar!
