It’s not just physical defense. They’ve taken away book and Paul’s regular middie curls and are engaging them further out. Give Lue credit, he’s schemed a nice defense against us with good athletes.
I rewatched the last 2 games. They have absolutely crowded anything near the paint to take away Book and now Paul’s midrange. They are daring our guards to become 3 point shooters. If it wasn’t for Ayton and Payne getting all those drives this series might look very different.

Monty has struggled to counter Lue
A bit but we ar up 3-1. I will take it.

Devin Booker said he's not blaming anything on the mask but he's never played with it before and that it takes some getting used to. Decided to ditch it but joked that you don't realize how much you get hit in the face after you take it off.

Just running the court with a nose broken in 3 places is amazing.

Suns jam session dogging Nader playing?

why? I think him and Craig are basically equal.

Nader is better offensively, and Craig better defensively.

I don’t have a problem giving him a little run at all.

Six months later I have barely done the activity that broke my face

Booker playing and taking off that mask was bad ass. It was tough

Shows how terrible Jokic's drop defense was. Zubac and the Clippers have done MUCH better with it. Still, if they're taking the mid-range away, there should be openings somewhere. The lack of ball movement has been glaring to me.
Agreed. Monty is missing something in the film.

They’ve done a much better job than Denver, but Paul has gotten some good looks still. He just can’t hit the broadside of a barn.

Was out watching the game… good lord, that was something from the late 90s or early 2000s. A brutal, slugfest.

and thank the lord for Ayton, he was unreal tonight. The National media isn’t giving him near enough credit. If he’d had a bad game instead of this unreal performance we would have been blown out. He was seemingly everywhere.
