I guess I could see it happen - after losing Frye we are in need of another big man and Monroe's ability to play center would help. We still have to expect him to get better though.

To be honest, who else is out there? Boozer? Kevin Love won't stay here without a guy like Lebron if PHX was to trade for him. PHX NEEDS a starting PF, I've been pushing for Monroe before the start of FA. I know it screws up spacing inside as he is not a stretch 4 but he is young, talented (more so offensively than defensively), and doesn't cost us anything but money. With all that said, DET holds the cards as they can match any offer.
