They asked him about the promise from Phoenix and he said with a big grin that he does not know anything.

Then they asked him why he decided to cancel all workouts and he said "my agent and them thought it was the best thing to do.

Seems it did not work out for the Suns. Someone leaked it and Waiters increased his stock anyway without working out while our FO looks as clueless as ever.

I don't know how the Suns look clueless in this instance. They identified a player early (who is now heavily sought after in the draft) who shut down his workouts with the possibility of falling to Phoenix. Also since Waiters dropped out of workouts apparently because he wanted to come to Phoenix. I don't know how the Suns can be blamed for this. Too bad, it appears the Suns got it right. Now the question is do they have quality backup selections.

This whole thing is silly. Cleveland did not draft him at #4 because the Phoenix Suns promised him at #13. They would have done it regardless and in the other teams that supposedly fell in love with him would have done the same.
