If the Suns can sign veteran minimum players they can preserve the remainder of MLE and BAE which may come in handy later in the season.
I also think the eventual DPE from Saric could be useful around the trade deadline if they have to use more of the MLE this off-season.

I think a lot of Suns fans wanted a player to counter a Bobby Portis. Those players are not out there but the Suns can create a mismatch of their own with the right players.

The more chips the better. I hope the Suns apply for DPE.

They could use one of the remaining MLE and BAE now if anyone is worthy.

I'm really disapointed Frank is back.

Not improving on him is a failure of the front office. Not saying I see any other free agents left that are better, but they were available and some signed quite cheaply.

It's great that we managed to get our PG's resigned, but this team has only been improved slightly. That is not what I want to see out of the front office when we were just one decent big man away from a championship.

Good thing the season isn't starting today, right?

As previously mentioned Jarred Vanderbilt is another power forward option and he is only 21.

Frank is not the problem as a third center. If a position needs improvement it's power forward.

What does Frank himself have to do with the Suns "not improving on him"? How bizarre.

But your last sentence is funny. One decent big man away from a championship. I guess I'm not surprised you don't like Javale McGee.

It is a catch-22. Anyone who is significantly better than Frank wouldn’t be willing to be a third string Center on a team with limited center minutes available.

Nah. Let Simmons run the break and CP3 the half court. It would work.

BTW, just fantasy here, not thinking there is any way to get Simmons.

I know, it's good to have some fun.

Wish there was some way to get Lauri Markkanen.

I don't know if that will work in international play. It also won't work team USA goes 0-9 at three

Yeah. Most European teams hit their threes. Players learn shooting from an early age. For some reason Team USA is not knocking them down like they should.

In NBA2K sure....real life? Not so much.

Even though the Suns are coming off a Championship appearance, they still don't have the draw that the Lakers or other contenders have.

What, like Saric, Smith and a pick swap or something. Our pick swaps arent worth much now. Can't see how it could happen.

I think the ball is different so that might be affecting their shots

Dreaming is free. I don't see how it gets done either.

I didn't think the ball was different but I'm not familiar with all the differences in the Olympic version.

If he was signed as a 3rd center I am OK with it. It's not exciting and I don't expect much but I am OK. Now if they signed Frank to also back up at PF on a regular basis? Not good. I don't think that's what they are doing but that wouldn't be good.

He would be third-string there too. Plus we shoudl be getting Saric back by the playoffs maybe.

No I do like McGee.

But we need another big to take Saric's place.

Frank is not playable in the playoffs, and that was clearly demonstrated a month ago. Even though we had a desperate need for a big when Ayton went to the bench he was still not playable. I'm sorry it is a failure if you bring that guy back already knowing that.

Also, winning next season will in all likelihood require a better team, because the Nets should be back and be better than anyone the Suns faced.
