I agree, we poor Suns fans haven't won a game at the buzzer in over 40 hours.

I think he meant the last buzzer beater in Atlanta last season, when Crawford nailed a 3pointer

Keep it out of Crawford's hands. Make Joe beat or tie us. He can do it but he's never been a great clutch guy.

I know, but I don't like the let a proper interpretation get in the way of a good smart ass remark.

Nice win by the Suns. Frye came up with two big shots at the end. Nice to have Nash shooting free throws to wrap it up.

I spoke too early, Nash has one more chance to put it away.

Yes!!!!! Suns win 118-114. :) Great job Suns. :)

2nd year in a row the Suns have knocked off the last remaining unbeaten team in the East. :)

Nice one, I was only watching espn gamecast, but it looked like Gentry had a nice substitution pattern to close out the game.

Most credible win so far this season, more than a Utah team on back2back or a Grizzly win .Keep it up Suns.

Frye used to be deadly with that little bank shot. I'd love to see him get used that way more often. Other than Duncan, he's as good at using the board there as anyone.

By far. Atlanta is loaded with talent (maybe not the smartest team but they might be the most gifted) and they were rested and fairly near full strength.

Big win. The Hawks were able to keep tying the game on second chance points, but finally they missed and the ball went out of bounds. That was fortunate for Phoenix, because for a while it looked like rebounding was going to cost us this game again. But the Suns made big shots down the stretch, from JRich to Nash to Frye, to keep staying slightly ahead until Nash could put the game away at the free throw line.

Our bench again came up big, outscoring Atlanta's bench 46-18. Our starters played well too, except for Lopez who again struggled to get going, though didn't foul as much.

Good win. I like how the Suns controlled the game. The Suns seem to be getting into some chemistry. Size is still a problem but Gentry seems to have the knack for getting players to blend together.

The Suns have thus far lost to Portland who is 5-2, San Antonio who is 4-1 and the Lakers who are 6-0. They need to keep beating the teams they should while the team develops chemistry. Beating an Atlanta team on the road who are now 6-1 is a nice step. Considering the Suns schedule, 3-3 looks about about where they should be with all the personnel changes.

I think 3 -3 is a decent start when you look just at the schedule. When you factor in the roster changes I think it's a great start. I really expected us to be 2 - 4 or 1 -5 at this point.

The Hawks three-point bombardment in the 3rd quarter was ridiculous. I don't know why the first team couldn't stay home defensively after the Hawks drained a couple. The downpour stopped as soon as Gentry subbed in the second unit. He seems to have constructed a formidable defensive second unit(from what we have seen the last couple games) for the second year in a row. However, it would be nice if he could even out the units defensively a bit, because the first unit can't get a stop to save their lives.

Horford was an absolute stud tonight with 30 pts, 10 rebs, 5 asts, and 2 blks. His outside shot is money and he's not afraid to mix it up down low. It's sucks to remember how close we were to getting the Hawks pick that year. Granted the pick was top 3 protected but, he may have been there at #4 had the Hawks not have gotten the friendly ping pong ball bounce. I was dumbfounded after that draft lottery.

JJ had a quiet 34 points; I didn't believe it when Leander announced his 30th point.

I loved seeing the Suns exploiting mismatches after Atlanta switched defensively on the screens. Richardson and Childress punished Crawford in the post. I was really impressed by Childress; his slashing and activeness around the hoop gives us another dimension offensively. Defensively, when he was isolated on Joe Johnson late in the game, he denied his penetration and forced him into tough shots. Is it too late to fix his shot?

Strong win by the Suns. Hedo looked terrific in the 1st half and Channing did well in the 2nd.

Childress was solid all around--I think the past games before this one he was really hampered by that finger fracture, now that it's healing you'll see him become a much bigger impact player.

Man of the match though has to go to Jared Dudley. The guy was all over the court tonight and hit his season high in points.

League Pass was showing the Atlanta feed and it was hilarious at the start of the game when they were talking about how their bench was so great and one of the best in the league (they are actually 8th). But not one mention about OUR bench. End of the game? 46-19 Suns. LOL

First Atlanta loss of the season. Two gut check wins in a row. Jrich hit some clutch baskets for us down the stretch. I kept waiting for Atlanta to throw in a few more threes and edge us out at the end. It was nice to see us keep a lead in the final 3 minutes of the game.
