Trae Young didn't make the all star so I'm guessing he'll take a bazillion shots tonight - if we let him - I'd love to shut his little ass down tho
yup. I'd like to see Okogie defend his butt for long stretches. I don't see Trae cranking up 26 points with Okogie on him. But I realize that is probably at the expense of team shooting to some extent.

The Suns issue is their home record. The difference between the 2 seed and the 6 seed is 3 home losses

Vogel has become predictable

Tonight's starters
Nurk KD Book Grayson Beal

With around 6 minutes left in the first quarter Vogel will sub in Gordon for Beal - regardless of if Beal is hot or not

He'll pull Nurk next in the first for Eubanks

Then he'll pull KD with a couple/few minutes left and probably leave Book in the entire first quarter

I'll be paying attention to this.

I didn't think the Suns would be 3-2 at this stage on their seven game road trip and they should have beat the Pacers.

The Suns are looking for consistency and Vogel is trying to find a rotation that works.

Looking at what the Suns have on the bench, I think he is just trying to get a combination that he can rely on to keep the game close when he rests the starters.

James Jones needs to find him some help, somewhere, somehow.

He did change up the substitution patterns in the 3rd and 4th quarter in the last game.

Every once in a while, Vogel will flash some quick double teams on interior players. I like it.

I can't help but wonder if he is storing some of his defensive schemes for the playoffs.

Sorry… even expecting a 3 seed (which we aren’t) to go 7-0 is completely unrealistic, much less a team right not that ISNT a 3 seed because one theyre still learning to play with each other, not to mention being down starters throughout the road trip.
Did I say I expected it - No I didn't, and I didn't expect that.

I just said the phrase resounding success should be reserved for a team that goes 7-0.

Again, if you go into a 7 game road trip, come out with a 71% winning percentage which is better than any team currently has on the road this season, that is a resounding success in 99.99% of any book.

A 7-0 trip is probably the best road trip in the history of the league. Having to be historically great to consider something a resounding success is unrealistic. Take the 2016 Warriors as an example. They were 34-7, best record in the history of the league on the road that season. They had a 6-1 record on their longest road trip. Again, this was the BEST TEAM IN LEAGUE HISTORY by overall record and best road record. And even they couldn't win 7-0 on a 7 game roadie. But because they didn't go 7-0, you couldn't call that 6-1 trip a resounding success? Come on man.

Need a good karma game tonight since I'm hoping to go to the Sunday game in DC.

Really want all three to play but am worried KD sits on the last night of a 7 game road trip before a cross country return flight.

I believe we've lost to the Hawks in Atlanta for 9 straight years! We are due for a win there.

Sorry - you won't get me to agree to that.

Describing 5-2 as a Success - sure. A resounding success - Nope.

This is stupid, let's make this the last post on this topic.

No it's not. "Resounding" is anything above average. I could see your point if we were counting quality of wins. That's not how the league works.

With everybody healthy he has more options now. Beal should be in at the end of games based on how he has played the last month. I am OK with that. To me the two players that are exchangeable are either Gordon or Grayson depending on how they are playing. Also, Eubanks has provided some spark defensively and offensively. Nurk pretty much takes himself out of games based on he is playing or if he is in foul trouble.

Man… I knew it felt like they killed us recently but I didn’t realize it was THAT bad. Yeesh. Hopefully 10th times the charm!

It would be sweet to close out the seven game road trip with two more wins.

The Suns play the Wizards on Sunday.

To go 5-2 on this roadie would be sweet, but I got a bad feeling about tonight.

They're talking about KD and Nurk's special relationship in the pregame - but honestly when Book and Beal were out KD kinda demanded Nurk play at a high level
