Not really. I don't even know what you're talking about. Like usual. :D

Oh. Sorry bout that, Ill try and keep my banter down to your level.

There was a thread where I, for no good reason, called Elindholm a rat bastard, in responding to a post of yours. I was totally being tongue in cheek.

I might have read into Elindholms praise of you above for being willing to forgive and forget, as a reminder that he's pissed atme for being a wise ass around these parts. Hopefully not. Eric, I was totally joking around.

Man, I must overestimate the get-ability of my particular brand of humor. Its obvious in person, I SWEAR!

Joe, "Arguably the Phoenix Suns biggest problem right now is their inability to solve a zone defense. I hardly think Outlaw is going to help there."

Strange as it may seem Bo was our best player against the zone last year. He sure as heck didn't do it with outside shooting - he worked himself into seams in the middle then made good passes and if the defense didn't take him seriously enough he went to the hoop with it.

The last game against Minny he busted their zone almost single handedly doing just that. Heck, he actually made a 17 foot jump shot in that game - I didn't think anyone would forget that!

By the way, most of that post was on the money - I just couldn't resist pointing out this one tidbit.

When he returns Zarko will be our best weapon against the zone - playing against it in Europe should be a big help to him. He's got the size and handle to operate in the middle and he's a lot better shot than Bo. The one game I recall when he was in against the zone he went right to middle and made a nice pass. D'Antoni had a number of years of coaching in Europe so it figures he'll have a better idea how to deal with zones. Of course, it's baffling why Frank didn't utilize his presumed knowledge.

Bo Outlaw might have been the team's best weapon against the zone last year. That's not saying a whole lot. The Phoenix Suns were just as bad last year against the zone, and it looks to me like teams are better and running at this year. Besides, had the Colangeli foreseen this kind of injury problem at the power forward position they might not have traded him so hastily. From what JC said in the paper the everyday Outlaw also wasn't a great locker room presence all of us thought he was.

I agree that Zarko Cabarkapa is a better weapon against the zone, and the Suns were counting on him to play a big role on this team.

The problem I have with this is that D'Antoni has been here all year. Maybe Frank has been using his "knowledge."
